It's a longgggg wait isn't it. Wishing you all the best of luck. I tell myself I won't test til day AF due...but the closer you get, you think, oh what harm could it do... Such a mental challenge this.

@bumptobean welcome back. I don't blame you. TBH if and when I'm pregnant again, I think I'll come offline. I was all smug last time joining all the forums and all the apps. When my pregnancy ended I felt like an idiot. So when that day comes I plan to come away from everything, focus on me and looking after myself, staying calm, not googling TOO much haha!

@Florence15 it's sill possible that's implantation bleeding - that would work out with the timing you're at. Finger crossed xx
Oh it's exhausting the whole process isn't it.
Each month I've been kind of plotting different days to DTD so that I can narrow down what eventually works. From doing it every day, to every second day, then the following month do it the alternative every second day etc.. but all becomes a bit robotic /planned when the first time I was pregnant it was more going by instinct. Think positive :)

@HereWeGoooo I was thinking the same. I felt such a fool deleting the apps and I don’t even think I could ever redownload them if I did manage to fall pregnant because it would still feel crushing and I’m not sure why. It’s a bit depressing but we’ve planned that if I was lucky enough to fall pregnant, now we unfortunately know a positive test isn’t a baby, we are just going to go on as normal like nothing has happened until 20 weeks where we will then let ourselves get excited again. Whether that will happen or not in my heart I don’t know!

@HereWeGoooo I’m fairly certain I’m not. I usually get the brown cm a few days before anyway. When I got pregnant in Oct I had all the symptoms but this time nothing . Will you wait until you af is due before you test? I know what you mean. We’ve tried the every day DTD then every other day. Then your scared you’ll miss it so feel pressure to do it again. My DH is sick of me after a week 😂 good luck. Let me know how u get on xx

@bumptobean know what you mean, I've got a pregnancy book I bought, and my NHS letter and guidance shoved away in a drawer since MC, that I don't really want to take back out again. I'll only start cramming homework when MUCH further along.
It's a shame we might not enjoy/get excited about being pregnant in the way we originally wanted to, but taking a healthy baby home will make it worth it. Don't think it won't happen, if it happened once, it can happen again X

@Florence15 I do think the body takes a bit of time to recover after MC even if your periods are seemingly regular and normal again. If your AF comes, enjoy some caffeine and alcohol then get back on it. My cycle is 32 /33 days so feels like forever I'm waiting.
My period is due Thurs, and I was convinced it was another unsuccessful month - no obvious symptoms compared to first time I was pregnant - so I tested this morning fully expecting nothing but think I saw a faint line. So going to try again tomorrow morning. The faint line has totally lifted my spirits made me think maybe my body is doing what I wanted it to... But scared I'll be disappointed.

@HereWeGoooo oh that’s great!! Fingers crossed that line gets darker. 🤞 isn’t it strange how one time you get all the symptoms and the next nothing!! Keeping fingers and toes crossed for u xx

@Pancakes7 im 8dpo and did a test today at 10:30pm, after a four hour hold. I did have twinges at 6dpo, so was a little hopeful. There was a line that me and my partner saw but it was barely there - i think it was an evap. It was dark, like a shadow. I'll test tomorrow morning, hoping it will get darker but also don't think it will. Feeling a little bummed even though I know it's early on. I feel like it was false hope.

Morning ladies, that's CD 18 for me and another flashing smiley... Now out of tests so in stopping testing for this cycle. Going to DTD a couple of times this week to cover all bases, than assume by the weekend it's done. Those who use CB, do you keep the test holder for next cycle or do you just use a new one? Undecided what I am going to do next cycle yet in the way of tracking since I don't think I caught ovulation this time!

Morning ladies! Just checking in after having been MIA for a while. I was due my period today and since my MC last year my period has been like clockwork. Always have a bit of pink the day or so before my period. I haven’t had anything last couple of days and today was my period day so I took a clear blue test (well first I did a strip one where you dip it in the urine but I kept my urine just in case it wasn’t clear so then dipped clear blue in the FMU) and the pic is the result. I still can’t believe it...,is it true? Xx

@PumpkinEverything aw thanks hun! I am still in shock and can’t believe it. I think once you’ve gone through something as horrible as we all have it’s hard not to be anxious but I will try and relax for my baby 🥰

@ELMcg that's a bugger, like you just go a few more times to cover bases. I sometimes reuse my holder, it depends how many tests I've got left as I've had some cycles where I've still got 10+ left as I buy the 20 packs. If you need to buy a new pack anyway I'd just use the new holder 😊

I’m 8DPO and just keep staring at my box of FRER which are calling to me.. trying to be strong and hold out 😩

@PumpkinEverything haha thanks. I’m trying to take it day by day this time. I will make an appointment with my doctor who did my surgery last year as he said to come and see him as soon as I get pregnant so he can do blood tests / hormone tests etc....
@SLCxxx ahh try and wait another few days. I know so hard but you’ll get a clearer line. I must be around 12/13dpo today xxx

@HereWeGoooo Well...You have a faint line! That is a really good sign! Are you on 12 DPO?
I got my strange period only for a day, extremely bright red, and 5 days brown spotting. It was really painful and my hormones were all over the place. The doctor said I have a hormonal imbalance after the mc, and I wont be able to get pregnant as my estrogen and progresteron levels are not right. So Im going for a blood test today and a scan next week... hopefully nothing serious and I can get a treatment soon. Did anyone experience similar? I know Im only 3 months after the mc, but I can tell something is not right and I dont want to waste time...

I got my flashing smiley today. Tried the cb opk sticks that are for use in the monitor i bought by mistake in my advanced test stick and they seem to work so glad I didn't waste £25! Anyone else in their fertile week?

@ttcrainbowbaby1 Fingers crossed for you. I hate getting your hopes up, then it not happening. I'm waiting longer, as long as I can make myself wait lol. I'm pretty sure it isn't our month anyway. I just have a feeling. But then I've had feelings I'm pregnant before and haven't been. So what do I know! lol.
