@PrettyPinkPansies yeh the second pregnancy (that was anembryonic - so just a sac) was the one I tested at 16dpo, the reason I had left it was because my cycles had varied between 26-30days post my first mc. It took 8cycles after my first mc for me to fall pg again. I had to have surgical management for that one at the end of Nov last year. This one (which is my third pregnancy and hopefully my sticky bean) is the one I tested at 9dpo (bfn) and then at 13dpo - the 13dpo was clearly visable but a bit feint - then I did another a week later and the lines were really dark! X

PrettyPinkPansies · 06/02/2021 18:36

Thank you @Bellabubble ! I'm testing in the morning so I'm praying xx

Mamat90 · 06/02/2021 19:17

Hey all! Back on the TTC train after our second pregnancy loss, this time a missed miscarriage with medical management which was 2 weeks ago, waiting for a negative test so we can start again! Praying we get pregnant fast and that it’s third time lucky for us! We’ve been TTC for three years, one ectopic and one anembryonic. Fingers crossed for us all!!

Strawberry08 · 06/02/2021 19:36

@Mamat90 sorry to hear your story and sorry for your losses. Mine is very similar, TTC for three years, two missed miscarriages at 12 weeks and 9 weeks and two chemical pregnancy’s (very early loss).
It’s so heartbreaking and I feel your pain but sounds like you are being positive & this group is amazing for advice!!
I am also TTC and 6 or 7 DPO so waiting to test in a few days 🤞

Strawberry08 · 06/02/2021 19:36

@PrettyPinkPansies good luck tomorrow! Let me know either way. X

Mamat90 · 06/02/2021 19:39

So sorry for your losses, it really is such a horrible experience!

I am feeling positive! I feel like a positive mindset is the best minder to be in when TTC as it’s so bloody testing!!

I have everything crossed for you that you get a BFP this month!

So glad I have found a group full of like minded people who have been through the same thing!

Pancakes7 · 06/02/2021 19:45

@PrettyPinkPansies I mean last year not the year 🤦🏼‍♀️ can't get used to saying last year for 2020.

PrettyPinkPansies · 06/02/2021 20:05

@Mamat90 welcome and I'm so sorry about your story, fingers crossed you get your negative test soon.

@Strawberry08 thank you! I'll hopefully have good news.

@Pancakes7 haha I know I'm the same! Don't worry I got it. X

Bellabubble · 06/02/2021 20:34

@Mamat90 sorry you find yourself here - but I hear you with the positive mindset!! I felt the same after my second at the end of Nov - and my bfp came in Jan, I swear it’s because I kind of let go a bit and chose to look at the positives!

@PrettyPinkPansies i have my fingers crossed for tomorrow for you!

PrettyPinkPansies · 06/02/2021 21:03

Thanks @Bellabubble !! X

SLCxxx · 07/02/2021 06:27

Good luck today @PrettyPinkPansies

PrettyPinkPansies · 07/02/2021 06:28

@SLCxxx literally just sat down to take my test and AF has came 3 days early. That's me out. Good luck everyone else x

dippyegg32 · 07/02/2021 06:55

@PrettyPinkPansies sorry to hear that. Fingers crossed for you with this new cycle.

Pancakes7 · 07/02/2021 08:18

@PrettyPinkPansies Sorry to hear that. Although good you now know. The waiting is awful. Be kind to yourself. Have a pamper if you can. Some chocolate and wine. Fingers crossed for next cycle for you. X

Strawberry08 · 07/02/2021 08:46

@PrettyPinkPansies sorry to hear that. At least now you know. Treat yourself to something nice today. Xx

PrettyPinkPansies · 07/02/2021 10:20

@dippyegg32 @Pancakes7 @Strawberry08 thank you. I'm so gutted. I thought I might be one of the ones to conceive first cycle. We'd had good luck in the past. I just feel like this is going to take us ages this time

Pancakes7 · 07/02/2021 10:55

@PrettyPinkPansies I was similar, previously I got pregnant on only my 3rd month, second cycle I think (it took 9 weeks to get an af after my first mmc) but this time my af came much sooner but 6 months later and I'm still trying. I just thought well in 3 months time surely I'll be pregnant again. It really sucks. So I get how you feel. I'm sure I'll be joining you soon. I have tried to accept that it's going to take longer this time and that me stressing isn't going to make it happen any quicker.

PrettyPinkPansies · 07/02/2021 11:02

@Pancakes7 so your first time after a mc you got pregnant second cycle after first af? Or after second af after mc? Don't count yourself out you still have plenty time this month to get your BFP! X

dippyegg32 · 07/02/2021 11:03

This is also my first cycle since a mmc in December. It took nearly 7 weeks to get a period due to retained products. I had an ERCP but then ended up needing medical management too. I was given the all clear in a scan two days before my period showed up. We honestly could not have dtd anymore if we tried during this fertile window (six times in six days. But I hold very little hope. We need to remember our bodies have been through so much.

Pancakes7 · 07/02/2021 11:20

@PrettyPinkPansies I just looked back on my app lol. So it took 9 weeks for my first af. Then after 2 af's I got pregnant. But not so easy this time for some reason 🤷🏼‍♀️

PrettyPinkPansies · 07/02/2021 11:21

@Pancakes7 I'm sure it'll be your turn next. I just don't want this to go on and on, it's awful when you Have all these plans and they just get ruined :( x

Marvellouslymadmum · 07/02/2021 11:55

@PrettyPinkPansies sorry to hear your af arrived but definitely don't lose hope! After our first mc we waited a few months before trying again because that's what the epu told us to do but I really wish I hadn't! It was 3 years before we got pg again had our next mc but we were trying more casually as in no contraception and just dtd as and when without tracking until a few months before the mc when I started temping. After second af we have stepped things up I've been tracking bbt and opk and have a call in with the doc on Monday or Tuesday about getting some tests done.

Pancakes7 · 07/02/2021 11:56

@PrettyPinkPansies Yeah I am at a point when I think it's never going to happen. I try and remind myself. I've got pregnant before and it will happen again eventually. Then I'll look back on this time as a distant memory. Just like last time. We will all get there 🤞🏻🌈

Sleeeeeepy · 07/02/2021 14:18

Hi ladies, have any of you had a reasonable sized cyst? If so what happened? Went for a scan today for possible retained products (waiting on bloods before deciding on next steps) and it turns out I've got a 6cm cyst on my right ovary. She said it could mean I've got endometriosis which wouldn't be great. Any experience good or bad appreciated!

ttcrainbowbaby1 · 07/02/2021 18:23
**@Ra1nb0w85* @ttcrainbowbaby1* I'm on furlough atm having not really returned since maternity leave. I have a 20 month old son. So for me the weekend goes quickly with my husband home. In the week I meet friends for walks and have my Mum over as she is in a support bubble with us. Some days can get a bit lonely. I find I over think 🙈 which is bad, but I can't help it. Each month I start working out what the due date would be if I got pregnant. Stupid I know! But for some reason this month I'm just think it's not going to happen. Maybe that's good, I'm not convincing myself I'm pregnant for once.
@Pancakes7 i work out my due dates too. I feel like i make attachments to possible pregnancies each month.
I've had a few symptoms today, 7dpo, like headaches and fatigue, and also I had a sharp pain in my right abdomen that I have heard women speak about when they've implanted. If it was implantation pain I might leave testing until 9dpo instead of dpo (tomorrow). But I hate having to wait... I just want to know.
