PLEASE HELP!

Please can someone help I’m going insane :-(! Only one day late on my period, this has been our first time trying for a baby this month and I’m not sure if this faint line means anything or if I’m just seeing it :(. I did the test at 4pm and noticed this faint faint line.. Iv been having like period pains for three days, my boobs feel like they would if I was coming on my period and I feel so hormonal so I’m not sure how to tell the two symptoms apart. This test is a first response test 6 days early :/. I did a boots own test Wednesday and that was negative. I really feel I am pregnant but probly getting my hopes up way too much. Thankyou xx

If I were you I'd try again with fmu over the next couple of days. I can only see a very faint shadow.

I think i can see something...if you can, try another one with your first wee of the day tomorrow!

Hey, I’m having the same today. Did a test this morning half asleep when I woke up for a wee at half 6, stared at it for ten mins and threw it in the bin and went back to bed. Got it out the bin when I go out of bed and think there’s something similar to your line but trying also not to get my hopes up. Tough isn’t it. My boobs are quite sore and feel bigger, and had some heavy spotting last week which isn’t normal for me. I’m not due AF until Tuesday/Wednesday. Going to take another FR test tomorrow. Fingers crossed for you !

Ugh how annoying! I know how your feeling! My other half thinks it’s because it was left two hours but I generally don’t believe that because my test on Wednesday didn’t have anything, I was due on yesterday or the day before and Iv had nothing but sore boobs, cramps in my tummy (mostly in my right side :/) and Iv felt really tired.. I’m hoping this isn’t in my head.. I will take another one in the morning :-), let me know how you go on xx

Yes, my test the other day was the same with absolutely nothing on too, but it was a Boots own one so made me think maybe that’s why as it was a different brand. Keep us updated too. Fingers crossed we will both have some good news tomorrow morning!

So the line didn’t appear at all 3 mins after you took the test? It appeared later? If that’s right then I’d say you are very very unlikely to be pregnant. Especially because this is a FRER and you are already late for your period. I got a darker line than that about 5 days before my period was due when I was pregnant.

I’m sorry I don’t want to crush your hopes but I don’t want you to get them up for no reason either. Hope I’m wrong or that next month is your month.

Well I didn’t notice it straight away but I didn’t really look I saw the dark line come up first so just assumed their was nothing then when I looked again and held it towards the light I noticed. I’m more than likely not and I prefer honesty. Thankyou!

My experience of FRERs is that if you hold them up the light they almost always have a "shadow" that resembles a line, if you take them apart.. which i may have done.. there is an extra bit of plastic casing at the back which is slightly thicker and creates a shadow. I am afraid this looks like that :( i cant see any actual line, just the casing shadow xx

I'm sorry OP, but that's a negative test. However if you're late there shouldn't be room for doubt. Give it another week and if you still haven't come on, do another one. Good luck.

Oh glad to hear you haven’t been trying for a long time and would be really upset. My advice would be take another in the morning and really get the test under the light to see if there is any hint of a line (I’ve never ever seen anything on a frer when I’ve not turned out to be pregnant). If no then plan yourself an evening of rare steak and wine!

Well that sounds like you are pregnant if it was at 3 minutes?!

The test from yesterday is impossible to tell because there is a piece of plastic at the back of FRER which makes a shadow if held to the light.
