OK so we have been TTC for a while now, came off my depo in December of 2019, regular periods since July 2020 but nothing happened yet not even the faintest of lines.

I fear I may actually not have ovulated last month. I'm pretty aware of my body and didn't notice the usual symptoms and EWCM.

Im tempted to start using ovulation tests to check I am actually ovulation as of next month. Am due AF around 30th January.

Which ones do you guys use and like the most / are the most reliable / accurate?

Ideally I don't want to spend a fortune tho!

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Easy@Home.... definitely easy@home 😁😁😁

It’s good to use OPK’s ewcm is a good indicator of when you’re going to ovulate but OPK’s will give you a more accurate idea.

I was told by a gynae to have intercourse every other day from CD10 to CD23 of a 29 day cycle. If you don’t want to do OPK’s this is an option.

I think OPKs are good when you do them regularly you’ll be able to estimate your LP and therefore you’ll know if your period is genuinely late or you ovulated later in a month. Also you’ll know if your LP is normal or short. For example mine is 10 days which is on the short end.

Hope that helps. Good luck on your journey 😁

Hi @EekFirstTimeTTC

Quick tip on EWCM, stay hydrated. I found I didn’t have much this month either and turns out it’s likely because i wasn’t drinking enough water. I have started using OPK (easy@home strips) and you need to make sure you don’t water down your wee so I’d hold off drinking a couple of hours ahead of testing. Usually I drink loads so this affected me! Will make sure I up my water intake next month if I’m not pregnant.

If you decide to use IC strips, make sure you get an app to quantify the results so you don’t sit there staring wondering what it means! I use Premom.

Good luck! Xx

Swear by Amazon cheapies. You can use them tons throughout the day and it's less than a tenner for 50'

Congrats @Elakiya that's amazing! I've read some real horror stories how lack of cm is a sign of infertility and missing ovulations. Thanks for all of the advice ill have a look at the easy@home strips and thanks also for the hint re staying hydrated @cat8986
