2 months in..

I don’t know if it’s possible to answer this but I appreciate I am only 2 months into the journey so haven’t been trying long at all!

I’ve had positive digital ovulation clear blue tests the past 2 cycles so we have made sure we dtd around the time of this to give us the best chance. OH has had sperm tested and all is good there.

So if all is good with me ovulation wise, what could the possible reasons be that I’m not falling pregnant yet? As I said I know 2 months is nothing in the grand scheme of things but I was just wondering if this was normal?

As far as I know even if you do absolutely everything perfectly, you still only have a 20-25% chance of concieving each month. :)

Yes it happens for some people right away but it took me 4 cycles, when are you doing the deed when your opk is positive?

Best to do it lots in the run up not wait till you ovulate. Easier for sperm to have already made it and be waiting rather than try and swim up and meet an egg, which doesn’t hang around too long. But as PP says, you’re still essentially rolling a dice, it’s about a 1 in 5 chance.

My cycles are regular 28 days each month, so we make sure we start a couple of days before I get the positive opk and then carry on for the next 3/4 days!

You make it sound obvious but the month we conceived was the month that clicked for me but also I was ovulating earlier than I thought. You’re covered if using opks thiugh, just make sure you’re not missing the surge, mine would always be around 7pm.
