Orgasm and conception

I'm going to be TTC soon and I'm starting to think about my chances. I usually have my orgasm just after DP has ejaculated (feeling that happen often sends me 'over the edge' even if I've already come earlier on) and I've seen somewhere that that might be a help in getting the sperm past the cervix. Anyone else had experience / know anything about this?

I conceived at 42 with a doggy style quickie. No orgasm. Then straight in the shower..

Your best bet is to track your cycles and ovulation using temperatures and OPK tests. That gives you your best chance. Remember even if every thing is perfectly timed and you are both 100% healthy you only have a 20% shot each month and it can take up to a year to conceive.
