Missed period but negative test

Hi,

First time posting on this thread so I'm unfamiliar as to what some of the acronyms mean sorry.

I came off the pill back in October after being on it for 5 years. My period was always on time, every 28 days. It was on time in November, the first bleed after coming off the pill. It was normal again in December. After coming off the pill we were still being careful initially, but in what we thought was my fertile window at the beginning of January we decided to just go for it. I was expecting my period to start on the 16th January but it didn't which is really unusual for me. Normally it would have been that morning without fail. Obviously I started to think I may be pregnant so took a test but it was negative. I took another 2 days later but still negative. This morning I've taken a third as I read you should take one a week after your expected period if you've been having negative results. It was negative again.

I've read it's best to go to the doctors just in case but does anyone have any advice or had something similar happen? It's just really unusual for me to be late and unexpected after having 2 periods right on time after coming off the pill.

Thanks in advance!

No advice sadly but I’m in the same situation. 5 months of regular periods, and then this month so far I’m 6 days late, took 2 tests, the latest being this morning and both were negative. I just don’t know what’s going on with me!

So confusing isn't it! I'm debating whether to ring the Doctor's on Monday just incase.
