Hi all.

New member after stalking the forum for weeks! Grin Husband and I decided to TTC this year, so coming off mini pill. Today is day 2 off pill.

Anyone done this? How did you find it ? Did you get a withdrawal bleed and how long until first real period?

Thanks everyone.

I didn't have a withdrawal, though from what I've read most do. My period arrived 28 days after my last pill... this was only last month!
Good luck 💜.

@glow92 thank you. Went and stocked up on supplies waiting for period to come. Suppose its just a waiting game now. Smile

Prepare yourself for the return of your libido Grin
Actually, prepare him.
Seriously though, I came off hormonal contraception after years and it was unbelievable how rampant I became, very useful for ttc

Fully agree with @Sillyduckseverywhere haha, though I think some of it is excitement of something possibly resulting from DTD now also! Either way my partner seems very happy, I just hope we can keep things as regular and fun if it takes us a while to conceive.

Thats great to know. Over the years my libido has went pretty much mehhh Hmm I could go weeks without it so pleased I will get that back again. 3 days off pill now and waiting to see if I feel any different, but I think its more my anxiety telling my body to feel something or tell AF to come ! X

I wasn't TTC, but I had to get onto something non hormonal double quick or I was destined to have an accident. Honestly I felt incredible.

2-3 weeks after coming off, I felt like I might be pregnant - sore breasts etc. I wasn't. I didn't bleed for ages (50ish days), and it took about 3 months for my periods to settle down. After that they were pretty regular (as they had been before I went on the pill).

I wasn't on mini pill i was on rigevedon had withdrawn bleed and 28 days later had period so cycle 1 now 😁 good luck and yeah totally agree about libido I could not be arsed with sex! Haha now I do and its not just to TTC baby dust to all

2 weeks off the pill now. Think I had a withdrawal bleed 3 days ago, lasted 2 days max. Sorry if TMI but more brown discharge then spotting. Sore nipps, bad lower back and shooty cramp on day 1 of 'withdrawal bleed'. Libido through the roof compared to last 10 years of 'ohh better give it too him'. Actually had my smear 10 days pill free and told nurse. She said to call back if no period after 3 months, reassuring I have a good GP as was going to wait 6 months to contact GP if period was a no show. Hope everyone is safe and well. X

Hi I was also on the pill for 13 years and now TTC.

I had a withdrawal bleed with lasted just over a week.

My periods are pretty irregular, currently on CD 34 and no sign of AF.

Fingers crossed for you 🤞

Little update, 1 month pill free. Had (what I think) withdrawal bleed 1 werk after. Noticed that of DTD with no back up, I should test each month if no official AF. So tested tonight, Negitive, I thought it would have been as felt no different. Just hoping cycle will return soon so I can start traking properly. Hope everyone is doing well x
