Ok I'm totally confused!
I'm 41 (not 42 til end of September) and have always had regular periods. 28 days always.
This month was weird. I had a bleed mid cycle (day 13 so before ovulation). It's lasted less than 12 hours. Now my period is 6 days late. I haven't tested for two days as I just keep getting BFN's.
Typically this month I didn't bother tracking ovulation beyond knowing roughly when as I wanted a relaxing month!
Anyone had this. Am I just getting old. It feels weird, like I don't know my body and I'm freaking out that maybe I'm too old to get pregnant and it the bloody menopause or something.
Just for info I have four older dc (youngest is 13) and had a miscarriage and chemical early last year so I can get pregnant, I just haven't since the chemical last July.
What's going on?

Anyone at all had anything similar?

I think I would be tempted to count from the end of the mid cycle bleed to be honest... particularly if it was heavy enough to seem like a period but at the wrong time and not the same number of days as usual.

If you take that into consideration, what does that make your cycle look like? What DPO/CD are you on?

That would make me cd 21 now.
I had thought of that but it was not even enough for a tampon.
Gutted if that's the case though as dp and I were pretty on it for what I thought was good timing for ovulation. And then only had sex once since then as we've both been ill. So probably would have missed it. Darn. Got ic ovulation sticks coming tomorrow as I'm freaking out my body's up the spout!
