Covid Vaccine when trying to conceive??

I work for the NHS so have been offered the Pfizer vaccine, however I am currently trying to conceive (for the past 5 months) so am apprehensive. Cannot find any information online, only for those who are pregnant or breastfeeding. I am not at high risk and I work from home. Any thoughts would be appreciated!

It's a difficult one. I've had my first one and I'm TTC when I get a period after coming off the pill which is tomorrow. I'm due my second one in March and from what I've read it's fine to convince straight away you don't have to do the 3 month wait anymore

HI

I also work for the NHS and has the Pfizer vaccine last week :)
I spoke with the nurse giving it and she said essentially that it is fine when you are trying to conceive, but that should you fall pregnant before your booster you should wait to have your booster post pregnancy. Ideally therefore you should wait to TTC until you've had both doses.
I wont be doing that... but that's the advice!

I would 100% get the vaccination in your situation. Covid during pregnancy could be the alternative and even a mild case would suck.

If I had the option then I would choose to get it. The known risks of Covid seem much worse to me than the possible impact of the vaccine.
