Early period/bleed 3 days later positive pregnancy test

Hi all
I wonder if anyone can help? I was due my period today but it came instead on day 20 of my ms (1 week ago) I didn’t think much of it as my period have been coming a bit early recently and it was relatively normal 5 days long, not super heavy etc. sinse it finished 3 days ago I have started getting pregnancy symptoms, nausea, bloating, tired so I decided to take a test today as I just had a feeling and sure enough it came back positive saying I was 1-2 weeks pregnant?!? Could I have miscarried and had delayed pregnancy symptoms or could it be heavy implantation bleeding? I have tried to get hold of the dr but she was so busy I have to try again tomorrow. Any thoughts would be much appreciated! 💛

Didn't want to read and run, I have no idea if im honest best speaking to docs and have blood test hun fingers crossed for you. But im sure if it was a miscarriage then the test wouldn't say positive? If you have bled before it. Wishing you luck and baby dust

Thank you so much @TTCNO2PLEASE I’m ever hopeful - my last period ended on 27th December and then this bleed started on 13th jan (so only ten days after the end of my last period?!?) ended on 17th and I got my positive today (20th) We will see I suppose 🤪 still have very light spotting so god knows!

@SR20 sorry your period ended on 27th December? Then 10 days until bleeding started on 13th Jan? Wouldn't that be 17 days? It may be implantation bleeding but I don't know much about that as I haven't had it. Just a guess id wait for a blood test and see. Wishing you lots of luck its probably a BFP and your body is being weird how come all years its fine as soon as you want to TTC it goes all over the place 🤣🤣

Yes whoops 17 days @TTCNO2PLEASE- I’m losing my mind!! i haven’t had anything like this in previous pregnancies so all a bit weird. I sadly suffered a still birth in August so I wondered if my body still may be a bit all over the shop from that. I’ll update when I’ve spoken to the dr 😊 thank you so much for responding!

Thank you so much @TTCNO2PLEASE I spoke to the dr and he also was confused so going in for a blood test to check HSG/HCG levels (I can’t remember what they are called 😬) and go from there! I’ll keep you updated. I hope if you’re trying or if you’re pregnant it’s all going really well xx

@SR20 ohh thats fantastic 👏 so glad you're being seen to. You're probably classed as high risk after your unfortunate SB. Oh ive not even tried yet 🙈 im only on CD4 and hubby's going working away for 2 weeks 😭😭😭 so I'll be starting in feb/March out this month before its begun 🙈 hopefully I'll get a BFP soon because I've only got until im 30 in Oct xx

@SR20 CD4 is cycle day 4 (out of a 28 day cycle) so when its ky fertile window in next couple of weeks he will be away 🙈 so no chance this month. No i have a 9 year old shes 10 2 days after I'm 30. And we compromised id stop at 30 if not happened because I really want a baby and DH wasn't keen saying we've left it too late starting again after 10 years! Which I get however he gave in. I was so anti baby before now I just couldn't stand the thought of having a kid. And I think i made him be the same. But now I want one 🤣🤣 xx

Awww I see, it will be so lovely for your little one to have a big sister and I bet your daughter will love a new babe 💛. Always the way though that when one wants one the other one doesn’t 😂 well I hope you get your way!! Xx

@TTCPLEASE oh bless her!! Well you gotta do it then 😀 so sweet!! I have one of each also and it’s lovely, they really get on (for the most part) but bring different things to the table so it’s always fun. Xx
