Taking anti-malarials while TTC...

I'm off on holiday in a few weeks, and going to a malarial area. We are TTC at the moment, and I think the time when I should be taking the malaria medication will be between about 5 dpo and 12dpo.

I'm not sure whether I should be taking anti-malarials if there's a chance I could be pregnant, or whether it's only certain ones you shouldn't take, or whether in fact we should postpone the TTC for a month?

I'm going to the doctors tomorrow to get my jabs, and will obviously discuss the TTC with him, but was wondering if anyone had any experience of this?
