Anyone fall right away in late 20s but struggle in late 30s?

I am just being very curious as about to TTC number 2. I fell pregnant first shot age 29 with my now 7 year old but I am now 37 and have to be realistic but was wondering if anyone had been in a similar situation? I know it could happen right away again or could never happen.

@universal83 Similar situation to me 😊. I have a nearly 9 year old DS with a previous partner that I had at age 28 after 'one shot'. I am now 9 weeks pregnant at the age of 37 but it took us 15 months to conceive this baby. I did fall pregnant during month 13 but miscarried at 5 weeks

That is so interesting to hear how different your experiences have been. Maybe your new partner had different sperm quality etc than previous partner or maybe it is down to being a different age. Either way I am delighted you are now pregnant :) x x

Hi ladies I'm exactly the same we already have 2 children...1st I was 20yrs and took 3 months off pill and 2nd i was 24yrs, had no period off implant conceived straight away! ....I'm now ttc for 8months and 35yrs I'm defo thinking my age is having an impact also have been on the pill for 10years

OP take ubiquinol, it's pricey, but if you read 'it starts with the Egg' it says how effective it can be to improve egg quality. Egg quality can be improved! And get your man on supplements too 👍

@universal83 thank you! 😊. I definitely think it's age related on my side as OH has a one night stand child with someone else from a few years ago (before he met me!) so I don't think there are any sperm issues on his side. Fingers crossed you fall quickly though 🤞🏻

I think age will certainly be a factor on my side I absolutely have noticed change in periods and increasing pmt etc x

I had 3 children in my late 20’s. My third child was born when I was 32. With all of them I fell pregnant within 2 cycles of trying.

I then got with a new partner and we started ttc when I was 37. After 16 months of ttc and 4 miscarriages we had various tests and scans done. My partner also had a semen analysis done. All results were great.

I’m now 38 and just over 4 weeks pregnant again. Who knows if this will be the pregnancy that sticks but I hope so.

Definitely recommend ubiquinol. I started taking it around 6 months ago. It’s not cheap, but worth it in my opinion!
