Extremely lonely in my TTC journey

Hi all,
I'm extremely lonely when is comes to discussing TTC as I haven't told anyone that myself and my partner are starting our TTC journey, and are very excited about it.

Me and my partner discuss everything regarding TTC, however it would be nice if I could find some fellow TTC friends to discuss symptoms, O dates etc as he looks at me with a bit of a blank face 😶 when I discuss with him, he try's to understand but if I'm honest I don't understand myself so I'm not very good at explaining

And more importantly to celebrate everyone's BFP's when they arrive 🤞🏼👶🏼

Ah I think I'm probably out too tbh as I'm not actually sure when/if I ovulated.

@DizSquiz yes! Although I'm gutted I'm glad I'm actually having a period as my last one was September x

@DizSquiz I got this today - OH harassed me in to testing at 8DPO because he is an overgrown child lol. Been testing each day as I still don’t believe it but think I now need to stop as I don’t want it to become an (Expensive!) obsession! Feeling exhausted, really really tired, bloated and had some nausea this morning but it passed fairly quickly. I just don’t believe it, feel genuinely shell shocked! Also terrified of a chemical pregnancy or miscarriage too. Need to stop Googling and scaring myself. I feel a little more settled than I had done though - What will be will be. Praying for a healthy, sticky little bean!

@PippityChippity oh wow congratulations that's amazing 🤩🥳👶🏼, did you have any symptoms before testing at all?

I was convinced I had conceived this month just purely because how much my boobs hurt and other stuff that was happening with my body, but I took a test Saturday (10 dpo) and no lines at all so, I think I'm out this month, I have had brown spotting since yesterday and AF due Thursday xx

@DizSquiz Thank you!! I was so shocked! Honestly couldn’t believe it, I was shaking when I saw that faint line! Convinced I had done the test wrong haha. No symptoms apart from feeling tired really. I have also been quite chirpy and upbeat which I’m normally not the week before AF arrives! I’ve had some very minor cramps, nothing like AF and more like pressure than cramps if that makes sense?

Ahh that’s a real shame! Brown spotting is a sign of implantation bleeding so you aren’t out until AF has arrived! 10dpo is still quite early. I wasn’t planning on testing until much later but OH had other ideas! My boobs have also started hurting today, they feel really heavy is the only way I can describe it! Xx

I can’t figure out those to respond cause I’m clearly having a brain fart. Day 4 of a very strange light period. Did wonder if it was late implantation bleeding cause I coulda sworn I had a shadow on a cheapie test. Frer was stark white though.

Hi @DizSquiz - my late period finally arrived, which was a relief tbh given all the BFNs - now CD4 of round 2, so feeling quite relaxed tbh.

Hey @DizSquiz! I’m doing ok, still waiting for my first post pill period and no sign of ovulation!

We’ve had a mad few days trying to find temporary accommodation as we have to leave the house we are in before we can move into our new place... all sorted now. But there are people out there that will charge you £3k a month!
We’ve actually managed to find an annexe to a large house on an estate where Michael Buble apparently has a house... oooh 😂

@PositiveParrot Thank you! it was our first (Proper) month trying, I’m still in so much shock - happy shock! Feeling quite worried about miscarriage/chemical pregnancy risk atm but trying to take each day as it comes and trying not to Google anything! Feeling okay so far but incredibly tired and struggling to focus with work. Have had sore boobs, some nausea and increased CM but feeling mostly okay atm!

Your housing situation sounds like a nightmare! Glad to hear that it’s sorted now though! £3k a month for housing is ridiculous! Would need to be the Ritz or have about 8 bedrooms for it to be worth that! Xx

@PositiveParrot That’s a line if I ever saw one!! Have you got another test?! If not, buy a FRER early test one tomorrow, I find pink dye tests more reliable/less prone to evaps. How many DPO are you? Excited for you!! xx

@PippityChippity it’s meant to be a cross through the other line.. that’s why I think I’m seeing things 😂

@PositiveParrot I am almost certain I can see a shadow of a line there. It’s quite hard to tell with blue dye tests though - I would definitely test again with a FRER early response if you can. Don’t get a digital one as it probably won’t be sensitive enough at this stage. Xx

@DizSquiz tentatively thank you ♥️ but I’m so not sure, I’ve fished it out the bin multiple times and can sometimes see something and sometimes not. I think I’m going mad... I’ll update either way tomorrow if anything changes.
Not a clue how many DPO as my OPKS have never showed a peak! xxx

@PositiveParrot Were all of your OPKs just really low? How many times a day did you test? I’d definitely test again with a more sensitive test. A digital test won’t be sensitive enough at this stage but from the looks of that, a tentative congratulations may well be in order! Xx

Morning! They were all completely blank bar 2 which had very faint lines. I wasn’t particularly rigid with the testing and decided I’d move house and then commit to 2 x daily testing.
Going to sneak out (I’m logged on at work 😂) and get a FRER shortly.
Trying not to run away with myself here 😳

@PositiveParrot Ahh that’s really interesting! You might find that you missed your peak! They can come and go very quickly. It’s also worth trying FMU as that sometimes gives a stronger concentration of the pregnancy hormone but you usually get 2x tests in a box.

I’m feeling very tired haha! Woke up during the night with a dull ache in my tummy but it went pretty quickly. Boobs are also very sore and ‘Heavy’ feeling (They were already an F cup so they’ll end up like balloons before not too long 🤣) and have also started to have waves of nausea but they come and go quite quickly. I’m still in shock I think but starting to feel excited, trying to put miscarriage/chemical fears to the back of my mind! Will probably get an early scan for some more reassurance too. Did another test this morning and the test line is much darker than the control line at 16DPO so I need to stop testing now! 🙈 xxx

Tesco didn’t have a FRER so I got a clear blue and there is nada!
Will test in the morning just to be sure but it just have been a fluke. Ah well, was lovely to be excited for a few hours! 😀

@PositiveParrot Hey you can get the FRERs on Amazon next day, some areas same day delivery

Ladies I tested this morning BFN 15dpo just waiting for next cycle now hopefully a bit more chilled out. Gotta admit, this first cycle has been stressful for me with googling things etc. I'm a worrier that's for sure 😅

The body plays terrible tricks. Things I've been through this month that I haven't before.
