I just want to see if anyone has experienced anything similar or if I’m being stupid please tell me!

I’ve been on the combined pill for about 8 years and it’s always made my periods come at the exact time every month. In December I had my driving test, was starting a new job and moving out with my partner into our first place and nothing was going smoothly so was very stressed and came on my period when I shouldn’t of done. I started taking my pill as usual but still came on my period again on 4th Jan the day I started the new job and when I wasn’t due to be on. On 16th Jan started having period cramps and thought gosh not again! Also started to feel really sick and couldn’t eat all day. The cramps continued until the Monday and then by yesterday cramps completely gone and no spotting or anything. Today I was nearly sick, very nauseous and constantly need a wee. I’ve had sex on numerous occasions but can’t remember specific dates, which I know doesn’t help.

Surely I can’t be as my last period was only 2 weeks ago but maybe my pill isn’t so effective?

Poas! No contraceptive is 100% effective. Some women still get periods when pregnant.
