How early did you get your BFP?

I'm currently 10dpo and AF is due in 4 days - I caved and took a test this morning and got a BFN - no surprises there! I know it's still far too early but I couldn't resist as I've been having all kind of symptoms. It was just a cheap Tesco test, I haven't been able to get hold of a FRER just yet so I'm still hopeful I may get a BFP in a few days.

Just keen to hear other people's experiences, when did you all get your BFP?

Did anyone else get a BFN and then go on to get a BFP a couple of days later?

I didn’t test til 11dpo first time (FRER) and was quite dark, 2nd time I tested with boots early test at 10dpo and BFN then FRER arrived next day and was positive. Good luck! X

Mine was 9dpo.

7dpo.... but I over produce pregnancy hormone was very very ill because of it.

I got a BFN at 12 DPO and a positive at 14DPO. And only tested as I fancied a drink that evening - no symptoms at all!

I'm currently 10dpo too... due on, on Saturday..

This I feel is the first month we've given it our best chance as testing ovulation with the Premom app and test strips. DTD on a high day and the day after when I peaked.

Got sore boobs and a bit of cramping today. Feel I'm going for a wee a lot today too but maybe just my mind overthinking it!

TTC baby number 2 and I really can't remember how I felt with my first, who's 4 this year!

I'm thinking I'm too early to test yet too x

@Harveybelle will keep my fingers crossed for you! My AF is due on Sunday so going to try and wait until Monday to test again. Like you, I've also had a fair few symptoms but I could also be overthinking it. This will be our first so really have no idea what's a sign and what isn't.

@2020quelhorreur thank you for your reply. Do you mind me asking how close to your AF due date you were at 14dpo? I have fairly short cycles (24 days) so 14dpo would be the day I'm due on. Going to try and wait until 15dpo to test again as I'll then be a day late 🤞🏼

I think I might buy some cheapies tomorrow to do on Friday morning and then see if AF turns up. I can be late so not sure if I'll test again til I'm a few days late! Eeek x

I had 28 day cycles with maybe a day or two on either side - and ovulated fairly smack in the middle of that. So I would have started expecting period around 14DPO.

So I got some proper cheapies from the chemist last night as couldn't resist. Tested first thing this morning. Massive negative. But at 11dpo guessing it may still be too early either way.

Wait again now til next week if AF doesn't show x

@Harveybelle what a shame, I don't blame you for testing though it's so hard waiting.
I had cramps last night and more spotting today so have no idea what's going on, AF not due for another 3 days and am never normally early. Just have to wait and see keep me updated with how you get on!

Mine was 9DPO but this was the faintest of lines, like squinting at it through a torch but the next day was a faint obvious line without a torch shining through it its stressful testing so early as the lines aren't clear so its best to wait but obvs I didn't do that as its too hard 🙈

Spotting has got worse so I'm pretty sure AF has arrived, which means my cycle was only 20 days and had spotting for 5 days of that. So confused might need to start using ovulation sticks to see if I'm actually ovulating

@cherryshine ah no... go again next month with positive thoughts!
This was the first month I used ovulation strips. Downloaded the Premom app, and ordered the strips that go with it from Amazon. They're pretty cheap. And then you know for sure what's happening at least xx

I just posted this on a separate thread but then realised this one was pretty similar so hope you don’t mind me jumping on 🙂 My cycles vary between 30 - 35 days. I’m currently on CD 33. I don’t know when I ovulated but the last time we DTD was CD15 (partner works away). I’ve had really sore boobs for the last 5 days which I never get before AF. I’ve had cramps for the last 4 days but not a spec of blood. I’ve been constantly nauseous for the last 3 days. I tested on CD31 (CB ultra early) and today (CB digital) but both at BFN. Has anyone had any similar experiences and then got a BFP??

@superjo93 yep, try FRER. I didn’t get positive on anything else until a few days after BFP on FRER x
