Hiya im so sorry im new and a bit nervous and im new.. I done a test this morning and its come up with a thick blob kinda from the start to the testing line and im just a bit confused about what it could be.. Could anyone possibly help?

I would say it’s an invalid result, must be something wrong with the test itself.

Did you leave it long enough to dry?

I’d recommend testing again with a different test if you can.

Okay thank you hun, tbh thats what i was thinking and yeah left it a bit to be honest will have to do another test tommorow. Thank you xx

That’s okay. Took me a while to get my head around the lingo!
It means ‘days post ovulation’. If you track ovulation and know what day you ovulated, count on from this day to determine what dpo you are.
Generally testing from 12 dpo can give you a reliable result, however I’ve seen ladies on here get them as early as 9dpo x
