Have tested with tescos own p-tests, would you test again with another brand?

have you had anything happen to this cycle that could have delayed your ovulation? stress? travelling? weight loss/gain?

i tested negative 3 days late and positive 5 days late! you could try a test designed to give you an early result as it may detect smaller hormone amounts or just wait a few days and try again!

i've had this happen a few times with age.

i'd leave it a bit and test again.

if you go a fortnight, see your GP.

try Clearblue?

It could be that in your previous cycle you conceived but the pregnany did not survive so what you thought was your last period was actually a very early miscarriage. This happened to me. I only knew I was pregnant because I tested at 3.5 weeks but than bled at 4 weeks. Next period came 5 weeks later. Apparently your body tells itself not to ovulate because you are pregnant but takes a while to catch up after you miscarry.

I tested a week ago when AF was due with a tesco test & got a BFN. Still no sign of AF this week so going mental waiting but done loads of reading in the meantime...turns out HCG levels can vary an awful lot in the early weeks and there is a large variation of when implantation occurs so there is a chance you had a false -ve....but no guarantees

I would wait a few days to a week (if you can last that long!) & then test again, maybe with a more sensitive test - I've ordered some 10 mIU/mL tests from ebay & will test when they arrive...tesco ones are 25mIU/ml so won't detect levels below that. FYI - Clearblue tests are the same as tesco ones according to their website - 25mIU/ml

Could it be that ov was delayed for you this month? I've had a ton of stress due to housing repossession hearings this month so am half thinking I have ov'd late & AF will just turn up next week...
