Hey. Im 31 and TTC #1. This is cycle #6. I did OPK on cycle 3 & 4, having high ovulation for 4 & 5 days then peak on CD16 & CD17. Im now on cycle 6. I had some spotting on CD 11 & 12. This hasnt happened before and i was taking a break for OPK but i thought i would check to see if it was ovulation bleeding. CD 14 & 15 blank. Since CD 16 i have had high ovulation but no peak yet.
My cycle length is anyway between 26 - 28 days. I would be grateful for any advice. Thankyou

I have no idea - but I have had the same for past 2 cycles - 2 days of spotting 3 days before peak opk... so not sure what is going on but I have had the same...

Its strange isnt it. I never have anything inbetween periods. Ive ovulated later than i normally would which now will probably mean a short luteal phase.

@JessB89
I've had something similar this cycle. This is my 2nd cycle since mc in late Nov so i put it down to hormones etc still being all over.
I had some spotting on cd 12,13, it was more blood mixed with cm then on cd14 i had my first very positive opk. The night after it was negative so i believe i experienced ovulation bleeding which I've never noticed before.

Are you wanting to know if yours could have been ovulation bleeding?

JessB89 · 18/01/2021 13:07

Im sorry to hear about your MC. Yes mine was similar to that also. I did wonder if it was ovulation bleeding, as i wasnt sure what else it could have been. My OPK didnt show high until 2 days after that and still havent had my peak.
Thanks for replying

Also i didnt know whether i will now have a short luteal phase which means less chance of concieving i believe?

Thinking about it, mine could be hormone related as I have an 8 month old. OP I wouldn’t worry too much about luteal phase - it could be that you have ovulated later than usual this month and your luteal phase would be the same - just a longer cycle! Have you taken any vitamins or anything, or changed diet or exercise? That can delay ov slightly x

JessB89 · 18/01/2021 14:25

Thankyou. Yes maybe yours is hormone related. My cycle was shorter last month at 26 days but i didnt do any OPK last month. My cycles are normally 28 days. Im taking vitamins yes i started taking a new one on my last cycle. Ive started to cut down on rubbish from my diet and trying to do somr workouts but havent done many. Typical its later as i was due for some initial blood tests end of the month but now my AF will be later so need to reschedule. X
