Anyone taking clomid?

I’m about to start taking clomid tomorrow. I have to take this day 2-6. I’m after finding someone who is currently taking it or has previously taken it for some support along the way.

I took it 22 years ago and it worked! My daughter was 21 last month. Good luck.

@rolorun thank you. How long did it take you to fall pregnant on clomid? Did you have any side effects?

Hi @suki2020 - I took Clomid for six months, then three months before falling pregnant with my boys (now 28 and 25) Then became pregnant twice more 'naturally' with my girls. Best of luck with everything!!

BigPlanes · 17/01/2021 09:12

I did. 3 months and got pregnant. Good luck Star

@Notasyoungasiwas @BigPlanes thank you. Did either of you have side effects from taking it?

Yes - mood swings, hot flushes and horrid thick discharge but all worth it Smile

Moominmiss · 17/01/2021 09:43

@Suki2020 I’ve not taken actual clomid, but this cycle I did take soy isoflavones and took the equivalent to a dose of clomid. I took them days 2-6 and got my bfp at 8dpo!

Suki2020 · 17/01/2021 09:45

@Moominmiss aww that’s great news congratulations 🎉

I did 6 months & no joy. I found it incredibly soul destroying. The hope/devastation cycle was even more heightened than when we were trying naturally. I'm now 20 weeks pregnant following IVF.

Suki2020 · 17/01/2021 09:57

@Mackie2020 aww sorry it didn’t work, but glad ivf worked for you

@Suki2020 - it was a long time ago but I don't recall any side effects at all

rolorun · 17/01/2021 20:59

No I don't remember any side effects

MimiArm · 17/01/2021 23:10

I got my BFP on third month of Clomid and am now about 7 weeks along. I don't think I had any side effects.

Best of luck to you!

@Notasyoungasiwas @rolorun @MimiArm thank you ladies, I decided to take the tablet at night in case I get some side effects.
Congratulations 🎉 @MimiArm

@Suki2020 Thank you! Yes, I took mine at nighttime as well as I had read quite a lot about bad side effects.
