As the Post Pill Party fills up, the lights are dimmed and the music drops a beat. The lead singer of this rambunctious band shouts: Mosh Pit!! The ravers all storm for the small space in front of the stage allowing their bodies to dance to the beat however the f* they want!! You go ladies!!

This is the 7th post pill party thread for women whose bodies aren’t quite dancing to the expected rhythm: we have delayed ovulation, crazy long follicular phases, crazy short follicular phases, light AFs, short luteal phases, long luteal phases, confusing temp charts and blindingly white OPKs!

@FlyingGiraffe do you have FF premium? In the gallery section you can filter HPTs by brand and how many DPOs and you'll see that there's plenty that look just like yours!

Has anyone else experienced horrible cramping and heavy periods since coming off the pill?

I was fine for the first few months and was having regular periods. Last month I had slight cramps and heavy bleeding for 2-3 days.

I’m due on in 3 days and I’m getting some awful cramping that I’ve not had before. Feels tight and uncomfortable

Ahh I've been a little quiet on here, but see huge congratulations are in order for @crabette and @FlyingGiraffe have I missed anyone else?!! Eek, how exciting!! It's been a great start to the year on this thread with some positives 🙂🙃🙂

@Tillybabs I've found cramps etc so bad since coming off the pill but I'm assuming it's because the pill suppressed a real cycle abs period before we're just "for show" so to speak. My cramps are bad enough since coming off and (sorry if tmi) I have very light periods that are 90-05% clots which I haven't heard of anyone else having. Google doctor though tells me clots aren't anything to worry about unless accompanied by v heavy bleeding 🤷‍♀️

My understanding is the period on the pill is for show and not a real hormonal event....

Oh yes definitely understand the periods on the pill aspect. But I’ve been off since August and have had monthly regular periods which have been fine and now today it’s like boommm lol

Last months was heavy but the usual cramps but this month I’m getting some horrible tight cramps and wind. Sorry TMI

I have a Q - this morning I woke and took my temp straight away as 36.22. However I then left it under my tongue and tried again and got 36.43 (not moving around, just chilling in bed). I think Im maybe sleeping with my mouth open? Any tips to get the best temps and get them consistent?

@FlyingGiraffe woop woop!!!! Congrats!! I think those lines look mighty fine!

@TheDaydreamBelievers I think if you re-take your temp then you need to leave it a few minutes or the previous temperature calc can effect the next one... I found this out by taking my temp repeatedly about 10 times in a row and getting a different result each time. If you think your mouth was open then rest a few minutes and re-take.

I'm CD14 here, OPKs are still low and CM is still creamy, so not a lot happening. I'm worried the Soy Iso will not have worked, but I know its still early days.

@Gracie2021 waiting for ovulation is by far the worst for me... I'm sat here worrying that i'll never ovulate again!

@TheDaydreamBelievers I sleep with a mouthguard so I often wake up with my mouth open. I have a habit of closing my mouth first and leave it a few minutes before I temp nowadays. If I was to get a random low temp I'd wait up to 5 min before retaking it as @kay00 is right and the thermometer needs time in between takes so to speak.

It’s lovely seeing so many positives in the thread it gives me hope

I’ve got a confusing one on the O front... Femometer says I have and FF says I haven’t

Either way the temps are practically cover line so nothing positive but any suggestions why the apps would differ? When it’s the same BBT data

Just been reading all our temping chat..... I keep getting 36.14 so often and realised I think I also sleep with my mouth open..... so are you saying I wake up but don’t sit up and wait 5 mins with mouth closed then do it? My temperatures are all over the place but it’s first month off pill!

@Juno231 & @Flowers222 Thank you, reading your messages first before the end of my lunch break really helped calm me down! I haven't got FF premium so can't see the tests to compare but it's good to know there are some the same as mine.

@Gracie2021 I genuinely thought I was on the countdown to ovulation again! I even told DH to prepare for BD every other day next week!

@Robyn101 I will definitely recap once I've gotten used to the news. I'll see how it progresses because I'm so nervous right now that it might not stick. I'm going to get a Clearblue digital on the weekend so I can see if I can see it in writing. Fingers crossed.

@Robyn101 I think FF looks for 4 temps above avg line, not just 4 temps higher than the previous one

@FlyingGiraffe congratulations! Bet that was a shock! Hope it's starting to settle in, though it took me a whole 4 days to get my head round mine so I wouldn't be surprised if you're still reeling 😂❤️

So my temp finally dropped this morning! I'm hopeful this means things might be happening?! 🤞🏻 I've been hopeful before though... 😂
Also had a really faint FRER yesterday morning which was fainter than my one at 11dpo... So I'd imagine my HCG is reduced enough to ovulate now! 🤞🏻❤️
