As the Post Pill Party fills up, the lights are dimmed and the music drops a beat. The lead singer of this rambunctious band shouts: Mosh Pit!! The ravers all storm for the small space in front of the stage allowing their bodies to dance to the beat however the f* they want!! You go ladies!!

This is the 7th post pill party thread for women whose bodies aren’t quite dancing to the expected rhythm: we have delayed ovulation, crazy long follicular phases, crazy short follicular phases, light AFs, short luteal phases, long luteal phases, confusing temp charts and blindingly white OPKs!

@Nellieee thanks for asking! Still spotting a little bit but not proper AF and slight temp rise but this is normal for me so don’t think it’s implantation or anything like that. I reckon I’ll have this for a few days and then AF will properly arrive. I’m feeling better today. I think I can’t help but get my hopes up every cycle so then I feel hugely disappointed but I’ve accepted it again 😂 I’ll start b vitamins again this cycle. don’t think I’ll phone the gp. I feel bad as they must be run off their feet so I’ll wait til April when it’s a year. So onto the next cycle! Your symptoms do sound really promising! Are you testing Saturday? Fingers crossed 🤞🏻 😀 x

@LauraT94 sorry that your body has been messing around since the MMC. Must be so tough. Hope you get your bfn so you can start trying again ASAP!

CD12 here femometer and FF both making wild guesses of when O will be. Still stark white OPKs at this point and low temps

Very much a waiting game and don’t even have an inkling what to expect or when

Temp went down this morning at 2dpo but RHR is up 1bpm to 65 and pre ovulation was at 61. Also my OPKs are so light nearly non existent. Will see how the next few temps go in the hope it was a successful ovulation.
My cervix is still high but is harder then it was 2 days ago

@ElizabethP141 I had about 3 days of ewcm this month, but more 'watery' cm for about 3-4 days before that. I usually log it on FF so I can look back and see similarities for each cycle. I recommend doing that so you can see your own pattern :)

@ChinChilly Sounds nasty, but fingers crossed you're over the worst of it now. Rest up!

We've been following SMEP since CD9 and I got a peak smiley on Tuesday night but my cheapy opk had a stronger line yesterday morning. I've been tracking my bbt but didn't have a temperature rise this morning. Is it possible that i'll get it tomorrow? I'm just praying that I haven't had an anovulatory cycle! Supposed to be BD tonight as it's the third day in a row but cannot be bothered to at all! DH is not so keen either! I think if we somehow manage tonight it'll be some sort of miracle...and I think I can say with some certainty that the skip one day and BD again will not be not happening! Haha!

Just checking in ladies, thank you to everyone who wished me a speedy recovery. @MancMama39 I’ve seen somewhere that sickness is a side effect of the new variant. This new variant means buisness, I haven’t been anywhere apart from the supermarket and my physio appointment and I’m always so careful!

@ChinChilly yes it really does spread like wildfire - BIL got it just running my Dad to get the vaccine in his car?!

@FlyingGiraffe yes it can vary how quickly temp rises, mine tends to drift upwards over a couple of days so you may find a rise tomorrow.

@moocher90 its looking good for a successful ovulation to me! After Ov my OPKs return to about 15% and my cervix gets firmer. My CM usually dries up too.

@chinchilly I heard that supermarkets are now one of the biggest vectors of Covid, its really much more transmissible than before. Hope you're starting to feel better soon x

@robyn101 I totally sympathise! I have been off the pill for 7 months and I still have absolutely no idea when my ovulation will be! The best thing to do it to keep testing with OPKs and keep your fingers crossed... but its a method that burns through OPKs!

CD38 here... and no sign of anything happening! I'm so fed up. I just want AF to show now.

I realise how lucky I've been and it has not taken too long but here is my TTC journey.

Came off the mini pill early October and had first bleed soon after.

First 2 cycles were 24 days. Used CB OPKs left over from a friend. Only ever had flashing smileys, no peak...not sure if they were annovulatory or missed the peak (I was being pretty stingy with the OPKs!). Also we BD whenever, and just seeing what happened.

3rd cycle decided to really give it a go. Really just wanted to know if I was ovulating - used easy@home OPKs and tracked BBT
(didn't have a BBT thermometer, probably would've been easier if I had!). Took EPO in FP.

We BD O-4, O-2, O-1. Took B vitamins in LP.

6dpo temp drop and EWCM. Was a confused but one of you lovely people suggested a 2nd estrogen surge.

8dpo/9dpo awful cramps, sore back and lots of lotiony CM. Really thought AF was on her way. Even popped sanitary items in my work bag.

10dpo nauseous (could've been my gluten intolerance). Noticed a teeny amount of pink blood on a fresh white towel I used that morning (woops!). Also TMI alert - labia seemed more separate like when I get AF.

12dpo no AF. Woke up with heartburn. Haven't had heartburn in years
but I know my mum suffered terribly with it during pregnancy. Decided to test. Got BFP!

I really did think it would take us longer because of my underactive thyroid. However, a month or 2 before stopping the pill,
I had symptoms and my dose was increased. Had bloods done at 14dpo and my TSH was 2.43. In first 12 weeks docs want it below 2.5.
No idea if that had helped.

Just want to say I love these threads and everyone is always so kind and helpful!

@Kay00 I saw that today about the supermarkets, I’m not surprised thought people seem to act like there’s nothing going on in the supermarkets. Pre covid I used to do my shoppiny online but getting a delivery slot is still near on impossible.

@ChinChilly get well soon! This covid strain sounds awful and I know so many people who have had it now.

I think I have ovulated but my 2dpo drop was frustrating but I guess it’s just a fall back rise. Only the next few temps will confirm. My nipples have become sensitive as well. If it goes up tomorrow then FF is saying I’m 4DPO which is a day earlier when I thought I ovulated.

@Moocher90 I usually get a fall back rise too

I need to be careful what I wish for... either my bowels are playing up (sorry... TMI) or... I'm getting period pains!

I would be pretty pleased if AF showed up, but it will be rubbish to have had a an anovulatory cycle :/

Does anybody here use the Femometer OPK's? I've just had a box arrive today which is slightly different to my last Femometer pack (different font on packaging) and have just tested with one and it's showing high on Premom but with the same pee on an 'old' one it's showing low?!? I'm not sure which to trust 🤷‍♀️

@Kay00 it’s a double edged sword. I think all my cycles post contraception where anovulatory until this one. I think when you are unwell things like this happen and all you want is to ovulate especially when you have put the hard work in. They say any cycle between 21-35 days should you have a cycle shorter or longer then are probably anovulatory. Not sure how this works with people with Pcos as I’ve read that they can have very long cycles. Get yourself better to prep for the next ovulation x

@MissC07 have you checked the miu as done are 20miu and some are 25miu

@Moocher90 Thank you. I feel like this will be anovulatory, whether AF turns up now or later. I feel like my uterus is as inactive Mt. Vesuvius and as dry as the Arabian Desert

@Moocher90 thank you, I've just checked and both say 25miu. It's really odd and quite a bit of difference. I've attached a photo of the boxes, the new ones are the one on the right.

So I went to bed at 21:30 last night and woke up at 1am and took my temp it was 36.14. Didn’t sleep as well after that literally on and off until 5:30 and temp reading was 36.16! Do I use the bbt adjuster. My vaginal reading from my ovusense was 36.48

My vaginal bbt using my thermometer was 36.85 so I really don’t know

@Moocher90 hmmm your oral temp is probably lower because of your nights sleep. You’re keeping a chart with both oral and vaginal temps aren’t you? Can you just record them all? And it should continue to become clearer over the next few days. And then you can always discard that temp later on due to a bad nights sleep
