Ovulation bleeding?

Hello!

Been trying to conceive for years. I'm late forties, know the reality is it probably won't happen now.....

So, cycle regular as clockwork usually, every 28 days, ovulate day 12/13. This month I ovulated day 8! This has never happened before. As a result we only dtd once, which was on day 8 so I'm not expecting to conceive, considering I can't even conceive when we have a proper go at it!

Anyway, 3dpo I have pink blood when I go to the toilet. This has also never happened before, so I Google it and it seems it could be ovulation bleeding! Still had it 4dpo, one of the times it was bright red, and still have it today, 5dpo, and it's pink.

So, I'm just confused I guess and wondered what you thought. I know it's too early for implantation (and as I said, the chances are tiny), but there is still a part of me that's hoping, and if it's ovulation bleeding why's it still there today, it says it only lasts 1/2 days, and is any of this connected to my early ovulation?

How did you confirm your ovulation? If you're sure you ovulated on day 8, does that mean you have an 20 day luteal phase?

I had a weird month once where I had suuuuper light spotting around ovualtion, and it continued until my period came! It was really stange.

showmethereceipts I use opk sticks every month and I can also feel it when it happens.

My luteal phase is usually 14 days but I have no idea how long it will be this month as this has never happened before. I'm hoping it's somehow implantation, but worried it's menopause on its way.

I suppose I was hoping people would tell me experiences of this happening to them and then being pregnant. Lol!

Fingers crossed some other women will be along soon. I'm sure some people have had ovulation bleeding lead to a BFP before. When it happened to me though, becuase it was so strange I went to the GP. I got bloods taken and my thyroid was also checked.

Boobs felt heavy and full last night, but fine today. Still spotting a tiny bit.

About 2 days ago I started bleeding like light pink blood turns out it was ovulation spotting as I’ve just got my peak! I wouldn’t worry too much! It could also be a sign of implantation which is rare but it can happen! Fingers crossed for you!😊

Macbookbaby Thanks for replying. So your spotting started before you actually ovulated? Mine was after. 3 days after, and lasted 4 days. It's weird! Anyway everything seems to have settled down now so I guess I'll just have to be patient and wait to see when AF turns up.

I am experiencing similar this month with some spotting 5dpo which I have never had before (even with previous pregnancies) and just looking for reassurance that this might be implantation bleeding

Daisypod It stopped at 5dpo, came back for the afternoon at 8dpo, which I admit made me a little excited, then AF came bang on time! I have no idea what caused it and things are more normal this month, 10dpo and looking like I'll possibly ovulate tomorrow or Saturday.
