I'm currently 8dpo with AF due anytime from Monday. I've ordered some FRER on Amazon which arrived today but I read some reviews that they can give false positives due to indent lines.

My question is, would you test early and potentially get a positive which is either a false positive or ends up as a CP and then have the anxiety of waiting for AF.

Or, would you stick with the anxiety of just waiting for AF?

I think either option ends with anxiety but I'm not sure what the better option is haha

Hey @TTCnum1, personally I'd wait if I was using the cheapies... if I couldn't handle the anticipation I'd use a FRER at around 10dpo but that's just me! It's what I'll be doing this month as it's DP's birthday around that time so would be pretty cool of anything came up early.

I'd personally test. I reckon the reviews of FRERs that talk about false positives are ladies that don't have a clue what a CP is...

If I'm having CPs I'd like to know as they could recurring and indicative of a problem. Without testing I'd never know for sure and I'd have nothing to go to the doctors with to have them investigated. My two cents anyway!

Thanks both! I think I'll try and hold off using the FRER until Sunday morning when I'll be 10dpo. I haven't had any symptoms though and I've heard that if you have symptoms then you'll have enough HCG in your body for a positive!

@Juno231good point about having something to show a Dr if a CP did happen!
