Hello! This is my second month using the Clearblue digital OPK where you have the flashing and static smileys.
Last month I got one negative on CD10 then 4 days of flashing smileys from CD11-14 until a static smiley on CD15.

I just tested in my new cycle on CD12 and CD13 which have both been negative. But last month I had flashing smileys during these days. I am using the same stick, just new testing strips which you put in.

My question is - is it normal to get negative ovulation results different cycles? My cycles are usually around 30 days. Based on last months testing I would have expected at least a rise in estrogen detection and a flashing one!

Also, do you all use the same stick/monitor when testing?

I wonder if it's not detecting it based on last month where it had nothing else to base it off the month before...

Hope that makes sense! :)

Not every month is the same so you just need to carry on testing - I used these tests for years and would get a static smiley anytime between cycle day 12 and 17 - some months I'd get a weak days of flashing smileys some months only one

Hello, if you mean you aren't using a new reader this is the problem. Instructions state you need new one each cycle 😁😁

Your body can also play tricks on you and delay ovulation when you're tracking Grin. In the past I've had the blank circles skip straight to static too. Good luck!

@ivfbeenbusy @Chanel05 thanks ladies, strangely I got my positive static smiley this morning at CD16, after negatives for the past two days Confused bit odd that it didn't detect the hormone increase and went straight to ovulation soon! Do you know why this happens? X

@kent1991 I had a look at the leaflet that came with it it says you can use the same holder for cycles until the battery runs out Smile x

@yeahthegirl

It happened to me from time to time - I found that often coincided with ovulating a bit later. It just means that your LH surge happened fast and quick
