TTC for over a year - how to still be excited about the prospect of becoming parents

Hello!
I’m looking for some ideas on how to make TTC exciting 1 year on. Be both feel a little burnt out and jaded by the whole experience. We want to turn this around and start being positive again.

A little background - so we were very excited about having a little one join us and never really felt any pressure but then my sister-in-law announced her pregnancy and THEN my other sister-in-law announced she conceived whilst at our home on the day her sister announced her pregnancy. So they are 7 weeks apart and due early this year.

My DH and I have really struggled with this news and it’s gone from us looking forward to becoming parents to feeling like we have to catch up. We are currently awaiting test results which is probably adding to the concern.

Wondering if anyone else has felt this way and how/if they managed to recapture the excitement. There’s only so many things I can research and add to Amazon lists for when/if we manage to conceive.

Thanks in advance x
