AF arrived yesterday with a vengeance, and not only is it a complete bummer not to be pregnant, I forgot to put a precautionary pad in before my shift so by the time I got a loo break I had bled through my underwear and scrubs and it was down my legs before I even noticed. The first time in 19 years of menstruating that has ever happened.

I had to waddle down to the scrubs room which is manned more aggressively than the US capitol by 2 very grumpy women who wrote my name down to ensure I wasn't planning to keep the loaned scrubs
Heaven forbid the NHS could manage to give doctors 3 pairs.

Anyway. To all those who have started their period recently and are TTC, SOLIDARITY!

Let's hope this next cycle is our cycle with a BFP for everyone, but in the mean time, keep me company with your own stories!

Oh nooo I hate when that happens 😒 bless you! A funny story though. I once was watching TV on couch at night and all of a sudden felt a gush. I was so close to bleeding through my knickers my pjs and onto my light grey fabric couch it was like a murder scene 🙈🙈 luckily i felt it just in time before it hit the couch.. FU AF, FU!!!

Hahaha close shave! We recently got some battered old leather sofas for the snug in anticipation of carnage involving jam/wine/banana/miscellaneous child secretions now our baby is mobile.
It has been a worthy investment. There's still a pale coloured velvet sofa in the kitchen however which is running the gauntlet.

@LAgeDeRaisin haha I have a white living room, well pretty much everywhere is white but I have a 9 yo so shes passed the jam hands stage. Although I may need to rethink if I ever conceive baby no 2 🙈🙈
