Ovulation pain?!

Hello :)
So I got my static smiley on the clear blue ovulation tests last night, but annoyingly DP wasn't home so we couldn't DTD..
We DTD 4 days ago, so hopefully may have a good supply 😅🤞🏼 but will DTD tonight too.

Am I right in thinking ovulation will be today? I'm having period-like cramping.. honestly if I hadn't had the peak fest I'd have been adamant that AF is on the way 🤦‍♀️🤣

Anybody had any experience with this?

Also just to add - I never actually had a flashing smiley! Two days ago the clear blue was negative and yesterday it was a static smiley! Xx

@huhh hi!! I get mild cramping when I ovulate, more like sharp twinges in my lower abdomen. If you DTD tonight you should be covered. I got a static smiley Sunday morning around 10am and didn't DTD til around 3pm, I did a test at 1/2pm on another ClearBlue OPK and it showed low fertility I was devastated, I'd say if I tested Saturday it would have been static too however I had an AF like bleed last week for 4 days so that's why I didn't.

I've looked it up and from what I read (don't quote me I could be wrong!) after the 'peak' phase, it takes roughly 12-24 hours to actually release the egg so I'm hoping we DTD just in time as before Sunday it was 4 days before that when we last DTD. If anyone knows if this info about the egg being released is true could you let me know please 😃

@Rmd123 fingers crossed you're covered too! I've got lots of wet CM this morning so I think hopefully I'm on the right tracks. Will DTD tonight to cover ourselves and probably tomorrow too 😅🙈 xx
I think you're right R.E the egg release.
