Hello ladies.

I'm very new around here but have been trying for about 10 cycles now. I'm normally very good at holding off testing but whilst being stuck at home this month I can't seem to control myself. I took this test this morning at 11dpo and see a line that came up within 5 minutes but I've not used these tests before. I honestly thought that this early it would be blank white but there's definitely something there. Do you think it's an evap line? I did one of these tests yesterday at 10dpo and it looked the same so I'm very unsure.

Please give me your opinions! I know I need to hold off and wait a few days before I do another one but no doubt I'll be staring at another test tomorrow morning 😂

In all my years of testing I’ve learned that a line is a line no matter how faint, it looks positive to me. However these tests aren’t the most reliable so I’d go buy a first response which is a bit more sensitive. Hope it comes up positive OP

I used these tests this cycle and got a hint of a shadow at 8dpo, then it was slightly clearer at 9dpo, so I did a frer to confirm and there was a clear line. I’ve been doing the easy at hone ones daily since (I’m currently 11dpo) and have clear lines now.

Thank you so much. I don't think I'm quite ready to go out and buy a FRER just yet, I'm basically too scared 😂 I'm not ready to have my hopes dashed.

I think I'll try another cheapie tomorrow morning and then if it's the same I'll go buy a better test.

I have no symptoms like most months but for some reason I've really got my hopes up that this month will be the one.

@Madeoftea, that looks like a nice real line, tentative congratulations! 💐 I tested today with easy@home as well, mine looks more inconclusive/evap compared to yours!

@Ygritte84 I can definitely see a line on yours too! How many days dpo are you?

I've had cramps most of the afternoon and started spotting a teeny tiny bit which is normal for me so I'm not too hopeful. I think I'll do another test in the morning to be sure but 🤞🤞 for us both.

@Madeoftea BFN this morning, it was an evap. 7DPO yesterday so not surprised - also, we are not actively ttc, so it would be a bit of a surprise.... Easy@home, not impressed!

Madeoftea · 15/01/2021 08:39

@Ygritte84 I had a maybe slightly darker line this morning but I'm not convinced. I dipped one in water to be sure and there was nothing on that one though. I've been out and all I could get was some clear blue so I'm going to try and not go to the loo for as long as possible and then try one of those.

Keeping my fingers crossed for you @Madeoftea! Let us know how the Clearbue goes. I will test again at the weekend if AF doesn't arrive....Hmm

Madeoftea · 15/01/2021 10:51

I'm in shock. Terrified and worried and really really happy.

This is so wonderful @Madeoftea!!! Huge congrats Flowers There is nothing like the feeling of seeing those words on a screen, huh? Smile Is this your first DC, did you have any signs that made you think you were pregnant? I have a very full bladder sensation, and no AF cramps...

Madeoftea · 15/01/2021 12:03

Thank you so much @Ygritte84! This is my first yes, I'm so nervous I'm going insane how do people do this? 😂

I haven't had many symptoms, my boobs have been tender when they're not normally at this point of my cycle but I think I only noticed it because I was hyper aware of everything. I had a really bad headache a few nights ago too when I don't usually suffer with them, but that's all. Had mild cramps and spotting since yesterday afternoon but trying not to worry unless it gets worse.

You're still really early, there's a chance yet!

@Madeoftea it is normal to feel terrified at first, but everything will slot into place naturally, believe me! Re symptoms: that is exactly what happened to me with DD - I didn't have any symptoms! Went for two weekends away in Brighton and Nottingham that month, I was so full of beans Grin We are not actively ttc at the moment, I would like to move on from my current job (I am a bit miserable there). But it's hard with the pandemic, applied for lots of roles that were pulled last min, so really don't know what to hope for. DD is only 20 months....

RedPandaFluff · 15/01/2021 14:43

Aww congratulations @Madeoftea! There's nothing better than seeing "Pregnant" on a digital, eh? It's just the best feeling! Thanks
