Hi, hoping someone can help.

Been TTC for nearly year now, came off the pill in February, but it took 2 1/2 months for AF to come back. From then everything was fine and I had a regular cycle.

Had AF as expected in October but I didn’t ovulate in November so AF never came. I haven’t ovulated or had a period since October... I know I should probably contact GP but before I do just wanted to see if anyone could suggest/advise why this is.

Sadly I am overweight, which I’m trying to change, could that be the reason?

Im having similar issues, had no periods in Aug and September, October I had to get them induced. November again no and December 2 I got them after 47 days. I am TTC and got blood tests done. Prolactin, testosterone are on the higher said within normal range and Progesterone is very low. I've been referred to the fertility clinic. I hope things work out, please get your tests done and of you're 35 or over insist on getting checked by a fertility specialist.

@shininglight16 Thankyou. It’s very difficult to get a GP appointment in my area as we have a lot of Covid cases so they won’t see anyone unless it’s urgent which is why I’ve been putting it off. I also went to the GP a few years ago (wasn’t TTC then) due to irregular/long cycles and all they suggested was that I lose weight (I have a medical condition that has to be treated periodically with high dose steroids which causes huge weight fluctuations for me, not entirely within my control!) and not to worry because due to my age I’d be fine (I’m 26 now), so I wasn’t sure they’d take me seriously :(
I’ll give them a call and see if I can get an appointment with the GP then.

Don't worry appointments are via phone anyway they won't call you in. Your health is important too so I'd say don't delay. The tests etc take a long time anyway so the sooner the better. All the best!
