Hi
I am new to this so apologies if I get my abbreviations all wrong.
I have been ttc for two months now.
I have not had a AF in all that time and I have done numerous tests and have only had BFN.
However last night I tested with a tesco own brand I stared at it for a few minuites and it was a BFN so I trashed it.
However on emptying the bin this morning the test appears to have turned positive now my mind is in turmoil as am wondering if I should have waited the full 10 mins that was stated as valid time to read the test result or if this is really one of those evaporation lines that some tests get.
Also very confused as to why AF as gone AWOL if not pregnant.

I would take this as an evaporation line seeing as you have not had AF in the last two months.

I would actually look into having a blood test done to see what your hormone levels are like as irregular and or absent periods can be caused by hormonal imbalances.

Thanks for all your thoughts on this just to let you know I did do another Tesco test and it was a BFN.
Feel like I have been slapped in the face, still getting over the dissapointment now.
So this still leaves the question as to why I have had no AF in over 2 months now.

I think AttilaTheMeerkat is right I do need to look into a blood test, but I have got a feeling that my GP will not want to take that route yet and will probably fob me off.

I did mention it to her before when I had missed the first one but she didn,t seem concerned and seemed to think that was just the way my cycle is now and that I need to give it a year of TTC before they would look into it.

I am concerned about this sudden lack of periods though as surely I cannot concieve if I am not having my cycle.

Sorry If I sound desperate but what do you all think should I go and insist for a blood test.
I have just turned 37 so I know time is not on my side my mom and sisters started menopause between 38 and 40 am worried this could be the case with me although I have had no other symptoms.
