4 days DPO - anyone else in the TWW

This is my first cycle of trying to concieve our second child. I'm 4 days DPO and trying not to sympton spot because I know it's too early, but I'm feeling rubbish today and can't help but google every possible pregnancy symptom! Anyone else in the same boat?

@Grace185 was the 30 days last cycle from the first day of your withdrawal bleed?

I've definitely read about implantation bleeding, and how it's not enough to fill a pad so it definitely could be as it's around the right time of your cycle too!

My pains were lower down and not specifically on one side, I was so sure my period was coming as it was just that dull ache but it hasn't arrived. It's just a waiting game isn't it!

@kblue1 lots of people don't have any symptoms at all when pg so don't lose hope yet!

@kblue1 I had mild backache in the night, but that's probably bad posture 🤣. I had promised my DH not to test till AF is late but thats in 4 days. I have some tests arriving today...so tempted! How about you?

Due to you only recently coming off the pill (they may take time to regulate) my first assumption would be this is your period. How are you tracking ovulation? My periods were out of sync at the start so I started using opks and they really help to estimate when you will ovulate.

Saying that, last year when I got pregnant (it didn’t stick) I bled for 3 days straight, thought it was my period and then 5 days later when I looked at my calendar discovered I was due on my period then so took a test and I was pregnant.

I would wait a few days and then take a test, if it was implantation then hcg should show up a few days after.

Hey just wanted to join in as I reached peak ovulation on Wednesday. Since having a miscarriage I seem to spot for 3 days at least before the bleeding is heavier. Should I count CD1 as the day the spotting starts or is that the day the bleeding gets heavier? Thanks

@EmiGoiko I’ve ordered some tests too, if they come today I will test with you x

@MsK89 I also usually spot for a day and count that as CD 1 which puts me on a 28-29 day cycle. My app (Flo) lets me log spotting and it always counts that as day 1 when followed by a heavier bleed. But officially or biologically im not sure what the rule is. Hope this helps.

Only 10DPO today and started very light spotting already, now I'm worried my LP is too short and will cause issues with us TTC feeling deflated today.

Hey @Rmd123 - thanks for replying. It was dark brown and I thought implantation spotting should be light pink?

I've had lower backache for days too and just 'feel' like AF is en route. I suppose there's not a lot I can do other than wait it out and see if it does turn into full on AF 👎🏻 what a rollercoaster this is, I know I'm daft being so bothered when we've not been trying for long but you soon get invested don't you!

@mooloop i felt like AF was due when i got a BFP. That pregnancy ended in MC. 8dpo today and i swear i have symptoms but BFN on tests so far.

@mooloop @EmiGoiko thanks both. Im driving myself mad with symptom spotting. I just feel pregnant but i might be overthinking it. AF not due til Saturday so got quite a wait yet. 9dpo is still early too you might not be out just yet! Fingers crossed

@EmiGoiko I think they say 9dpo is the average day for implantation so probably a bit early, my fingers are crossed for you x

10dpo today and still bfn. I think im going mad. Still the same symptoms though. AF not due until Saturday

BFN for me too at 10dpo today x
