4 days DPO - anyone else in the TWW

This is my first cycle of trying to concieve our second child. I'm 4 days DPO and trying not to sympton spot because I know it's too early, but I'm feeling rubbish today and can't help but google every possible pregnancy symptom! Anyone else in the same boat?

How many dpo are you? I still feel no symptoms at all today. Think I'm maybe 8 dpo now.

@EmiGoiko lol it is a line. The digital test is in Portuguese gravida means pregnant 1-2 weeks. I'm 11dpo or 12 depending on day.

@EmiGoiko I only felt very clear symptoms yesterday with metallic taste I've only felt that in pregnancy plus my boobs are more sensitive than b4

Can I join and wait the last week out with you guys? I’m 7/8 dpo and have 0 symptoms (sigh) x

@Rmd123 Portuguese (I live here) oh is Portuguese. My kids are 50/50 Brit and Portuguese tho my eldest looks so British blonde hair my pale face nothing at all like his dad dark skin and hair. Looks like his dad has stolen him when they go out lol. It's funny people look so confused until they see me and go ohhhhh that's why

@Rmd123 I had implantation bleeding (cd 18and 19, 5+6dpo)which I have never had b4 with my 2 boys and a v v early miscarriage in November. So that was a new thing. I was very tired this week. More that normal, really struggled to wake up, was late taking kids to school 2 days this week. Oops. For 3 past days I've had tightening sensations a dull ache but not like a period. But I tested negative on Wednesday and Thursday. Yesterday's and today's metallic taste was the for sure sign. I've got it each time and more sensitive boobs. It's normal around period but yesterday and today are particularly sensitive

@penguin7 idk if dreams are a typical sign (curious if anyone knows) but I've seen loads of threads where people have said they had vivid dreams before a bfp so maybe?!

Today I've had some twinges but they were slight and tbh I think i may have imagined it 😅

Hey guys, could I please join :) would be lovely to have some support.

I’m not sure when/ if I have ovulated this month as stopped taking the combined pill on 24 Dec, withdrawal bleed 29 Dec and been trying to track my cm, had some ewcm early Jan which seems way too early but then had some more around 12 Jan (Which included traces of blood!?) and then a notable ache in lower tummy the next day which could be ovulation!? Would love some advice on that. Since then my cm has become increasingly thick and opaque - today being the thickest day. Is this what usually happens? I’m not used to any discharge on the pill so it’s all new to me!

@Grace185 I’m also 29 and DH too and we are also trying for baby #1. Completely agree with finding it mentally tough, I thought I would be completely chill and having a bit of anxiety about it all even though it’s only the first month trying so I know I’m being silly, it’s just hard as the days take forever!!

@TedandTeddy you may need to wait a month to get your body back into a noticeable pattern however, my cycle started on the 24th December and I ovulated 3/4/5 of jan I have shortish cycles so it's possible that's when you had the ewcm it was then

So I’m looking for some advice. Yesterday was cd25. I’ve been having sharp pains to the left of my pelvis area for a few days. Once a day for the last few days I’ve had creamier cm but then dried up again be the end of the day and have almost none all other times I’ve wiped. Last night after I went to the loo at about 23:30 I had bright red blood (not loads but a good amount) mixed with thick cm. Like brighter than I’ve ever seen at the start of my period. Only one wipe full though. So I put a pad in and went back to bed and the cramps got worse but not exactly like period pains. I’m normally a 30-35d cycle girl but have only had one full cycle off the pill which was 30d so may have changed now. Only thing is this morning I’ve had pains across my pelvis but I’m completely dried up again and no blood at all. I’ve heard about implantation bleeding but that’s meant to be brown etc. I have no idea really. I’m going to wait and see if af turns up as I’m not due until Friday and then maybe test then. Does anyone have any idea?

@TedandTeddy it's not silly, I think it's clear we understand how you feel.

Agree you'll probably find you need a cycle or two before things regulate, but my understanding is the ewcm comes before ovulation and then cm dries up after ovulation before AF. I also have ovulation pain mid month every month that lasts around 3 days and is a combo of AF type pain and some sharper pain on one side on the last day. My doc confirmed it was probably O pain and sounds like yours could well be too.

@Grace185 it's could be implantation! Everybody is different. How many DPO are you?

@Grace185 i have no idea but it does sound a lot like implantation...especially if that's unusual for you at this point in your cycle. Fingers crossed it is 😬🤞🤞
