Faint positive on test, but negative digital?

Hi, I am currently 6 days before my period is due and took a clear blue super early test. There’s a very faint positive line. Using the same urine, I used the clear blue digital which said not pregnant.

Not sure whether to get my hopes up or assume I’m not pregnant to avoid disappointment?? Just wondering if this had happened to anyone else. Thanks

Digitals are meant to be less sensitive, check the miu sensitivity of each test. Try again in a few days. Good luck!

Digital are just a bit of fun and really shouldn't be used until your period is due or late, although some people might get lucky. Still a waste of money. Try again in a week.

Generally too early for a positive on a digital. I think I got my digital positive at 11dpo.

I did a digital today BFN im due Af on Tuesday. I think too early 😕 I'm just too impatient. Last time I was pregnant I used a digital 1 day after missed period and BFP. So u think theyre more accurate the closer you are. Xx

Digital are definitely much less sensitive, I think they are 50mIU where the dye tests are around 25mIU

I always go with FRER because they're so sensitive, but if you have a line i think you can probably take as a BFP, congrats!! xx

@Schoel251721 have you got a pic of the test that may be positive? I agree with @amz6219 if there's a line its most likely a BFP. Ignore the digital for now as its probably too early give it a try when AF is due or day after xx

I hope this isn't against any rules but i've uploaded the clearest picture here imgur.com/3CuHpWd

@Schoel251721 I think you need to be active 48 hours to upload. Yes I can see the image. I can see the line looks positive to me 😁😁😁

Schoel251721 · 12/01/2021 11:48

@Schoel251721 test again in a few days to see if the line becomes more visible dont use a digital until you've missed your period theyre only 99% accurate from day of period x
