How do you all deal with it? Af arriving every month? I don't feel overly excited anymore, just dreading af arriving and having to go through another cycle ttc. 16 months and nothing. It is rubbish! 😔

@PercyPiggg I remember feeling the frustration too. I told myself that if it didn't happen within a couple more months , I would tell my OH I no longer wanted kids 😔

The month we conceived was the month I stopped caring ( within a certain amount ) I stopped using OPK's & clear blue ovulation sticks
I made a mental note of the days I was medium / high chances of ovulation & the day I would be at my peak & we DTD every day or so

I got it in my head that the day af was due , it'd be on time , it wasn't until I started experiencing "symptoms" that I realised I was a day late. Then I got my BFP

It's easier said than done , but I'd try to take the pressure of yourself
It happens at different times for people , your time will come Thanks

@Ksi91 thank you, I haven't used opks for months now, we generally dtd straight after af up untill the cd16 ish. Find it hard to dtd every other day Southall every 3 days, I get quite a bit of ewcm so if we can dtd on a couple of days when I have that, I feel a bit better.

Af is generally on time for me too, give or take a day! I have had the odd long cycle though so in my head I think, even if I am late, af could still appear.

How long did it take you to get your bfp?

I had the implant taken out in august 2019 & got my BFP in may 2020

But the first few months , we didn't try all the time as the OH was having radiotherapy & chemotherapy after he was diagnosed with cancer
It was only when he went into remission that his strength came back & we started using the OPK's

Tbh I don't know if I do deal with it! There's definitely disappointment and sadness each cycle. For some cycles that mean more (eg the one year mark or the Christmas cycle) there's tears too. We just have to put our big girl pants on and carry on regardless :) Not much else you can do!

Pre lockdowns I used to have a little treat planned for myself as well. So at least if AF showed I knew I'd go and get my nails done or something to briefly take my mind off it. Oh and WINE. Wine always helps Grin
