Hi
Just after a little advice
TTC #1 Cycle 8
Currently on CD18 of cycle (normally around 28-32 days it can vary!). I seemed to ovulate very early around CD 6/7/8 and the. Nothing around my normal ovulation days, I did a little google research and found it's not uncommon to ovulate this early! Didn't use OPK but got all my normal ovulation symptoms along with ewcm!
I've had (sorry if TMI) brown water discharge for about 5/6 days, it had only been a tiny tiny bit when wiping and not all the time but today seems to be a lot more, driving myself crazy wondering whats going on!
Can any one keep me sane and give some advice? Anyone had anything similar?

What are you basing ovulation on? If you normally have a cycle that's 28-32 days long then you physically cannot be ovulating as early as you think. A standard luteal phase is somewhere around 12-14 days and cannot go beyond 17 days.

What this sounds to me is that you've been using OPKs and assuming that your peak meant ovulation. In reality it only means your body is trying to, not that it's succeeded. You could be having multiple LH surges and it will be the last one that results in ovulation, so definitely not your CD6/7 one if you then don't get AF until CD28.

I think you need to start tracking your temperature to confirm when you do ovulate. Otherwise you may have been missing your ovulation all along!

Hi @Juno231 I'm just basing it on my symptoms and temp, I stopped using OPKs a while ago. Yeah that's my normal cycle but in the past I have been irregular, I've had a cycle that was 38 days and one that was 18 once, so I'm wondering if I'm having a short cycle again.

Could you post some of your charts? Is it a big temp rise? If you're having a small shift at that stage and no AF until CD28-32 I'd speak to a GP as it sounds anovulatory potentially.
