Tell me not to POAS

AF is 4 days late. We've been TTC for 3 years. I know the chances are basically zero but I'm still in bed, fantasising about taking a pregnancy test and it finally, finally, being positive.

Usually what happens is I POAS and AF arrives an hour later

I'm kind of enjoying the delusion of Schrödinger's pregnancy. Tell me not to spoil it!

I had the same dilemma this morning, AF is only 1/2 days late but I had a Clearblue peak opk on the 24th Dec so was blissfully hoping for a couple of days but mine was negative. Maybe give it another day or so if you can but if you are 4 days late it could be your time and I think it’s best to know either way. Good luck 🤞

My cycles vary by about 2 days month on month, but rarely is it 4 days "late".

We wanted to start fertility treatment last year but obviously the world had a different plan so hopefully 2021 is the year we make some progress.

But in the meantime there's always a tiny part of my which thinks "this is the month that a miracle will happen".

I love that you've called it schrodingers pregnancy that's my favourite thing I've ever read on mn.

It's alright, let's run with Schrödinger's pregnancy

CD35 today and still no AF. The longest I've had before this was 34. I unfortunately woke up early and went to the loo half asleep so no test today. Maybe I'll have another go tomorrow but I feel absolutely fine, no symptoms whatsoever, not even a bit of PMS.
