Ovulation tests - suggestions

AF arrived today, what a horrible feelign that is. Im going to look inti ovulation tests because my period tracker i just dont think is accurate.

What do people suggest?

I’m using the clear blue ones they are Bluetooth connected xx

Definitely CB Digital with 4 days (flashing and static smiley). I cannot suss the cheap OPKs at all! CB spells it out, and has worked 2nd month and 1st month for us. xx

I like the cheap IC ones as they're so much cheaper than the Clearblue ones. I buy a pack of 50 for like £9 on amazon (femometer) and don't have to worry about testing too early and running out of OPKs before I've spotted a peak reading. If you use them alongside the app it takes pics of them and analyses the readings for you.

For those who use ovulation tests, when do you test? I.e when you are sceduled to be ovulating?

On the days youre testing do you test more than once? X

I always bought Amazon cheapies, tested a few times (3/4) from cd10, though I'd ovulate any day between cd17-22.

I usually ovulate between 14-16 so I start testing with the CB dual hormone test at day 9 or 10, usually get two flashing (high) fertility days and then peak (static). I only test once a day xx

I’ll add that both pregnancies have been from sex prior to peak, I think both the on the last high day so probably 2 days before ovulation! (Although may have been sooner) Xx

I use the cheapies and use one a day when not bleeding (but I have super irregular cycles)

Is it best to pee first thing or does time.of day not matter?

@rosegold33 you aren't supposed to with the cheapies but I always did and they were accurate for me.

I just do FMU with clearblue, I have used IC any time of the day x
