You can’t tell you just have to either wait until late period and test again. Or keep testing

Normal Implantation bleeding occurs 5-6 days post ovulation. It is a small amount, light pink on wiping, usually just one episode of same.

@calimommy everything ive read said 10-14 days after ovulation for implantation so that would fit with the timing 🤷🏻‍♀️ Who knows. Knowing my luck it’s the start of yet another miscarriage given that this mornings test has a line.

I'm sorry you are feeling that way, crossing my
Fingers it's not. I can see a very faint line on your test. Re the bleeding there is huge variation. The egg implants sometime from day 5/6 post ovulation so bleeding can occur anytime from then onwards. I've had 7 pregnancies and 5/6 DPO is when it has always occurred. For me it's the first sign I will get a positive test in a week or so. But not everyone gets them. (I don't have 7 children btw! Ha!)

Agree with the previous poster that it can happen anytime from around 6DPO. The main difference is implantation bleeding is light, brown or pink in colour and generally only lasts a couple of days. At 12DPO you should test with a FRER, they are much more sensitive so should definitely pick up a pregnancy at 12DPO.

Penguinmumma · 10/01/2021 08:23

The tests I used are the ones used in a hospital so are the same sensitivity as a frer.

The bleeding was a faint pink and brown then stopped completely. Then around 5 hours later I started fully bleeding so given the positive tests and the symptoms id had previously, I think it was a chemical.
