3 days late BFN

As it says basically 3 days late and BFN using clear blue, we didn’t track ovulation as we wanted a month off for Christmas.

Just done a test and it’s negative, just wondering if it’s because it wasn’t a 4hr hold urine, I couldn’t last 🤦‍♀️ Going to give it a try in the morning, otherwise wait for AF to wait

Anyone had this before?

I did and AF eventually turned up on CD43 after having a 28 day cycle like clockwork! Sometimes your body just decides to F with you when you’re TTC.

Any chance you ovulated later than normal? Hoping you get the result you’re after! X

No we didn’t track it this month, so I’m not sure... I guess we will just have to wait and see!

All this waiting is enough to make anyone go insane! X

I had this last month. I'm always 26/27 days and went to 34 days this month. It was just a random long cycle

@bluemagicalsky yeh I did and still BFN... I just wish AF would arrive so we can start again, it’s incredibly frustrating!

Hey, just wondering what the outcome was for you both? Currently 4 days late, cycles are usually like clockwork! Have done clear blue and cheapies- BFN for all. Will try again tomorrow morning first thing as more likely to pick up HCG.

I need to know really as due to have my covid vaccine Saturday but also very much longing for a baby x

@Sydney1986x must be in the air cause I'm the same. 2 days later. Regular periods but nothing.

So frustrating @IndigoJam there’s either some dodgy batches of tests or our bodies are playing horrible tricks on us!!! It’s driving me insane!

@Sydney1986x I've tried cheap ones and first response. I've never been more than 1 day late and that's only because I got my dates wrong. Certainly didn't get dates wrong this time. So annoying how our bodies can just suddenly go off plan.

Sorry AF arrived for you @Nic2020 Wishing you lots of luck for this month.
I got my BFP 6 days after expected AF. I had a chemical pregnancy last month (tested early, got a BFP but AF arrived on queue). So my theory is that the chemical altered my cycle and I ovulated 6 days later than I thought. Therefore when I tested and got BFNs, I was actually way outside the testing window to get positives.
I'm 5+3 now.

I'm 3 days late but petrified to test 😬 don't want to see that bfn again!

Normally fairly regular - 4 days late, bfn but then I had a miscarriage in Dec so it is probably my cycle being messed up after that. Fairly sure I ovulated at the normal time though, i.e. two weeks later, so no idea! This ttc is a mystery ride sometimes...

It takes me weeks to get a test to show BFP. It did with my first and has this time (22w atm). I always get symptoms way before it shows on a test, sore boobs, feeling surprisingly cheery (no af) and sometimes mild nausea. I usually have to be several weeks past my expected period to have a clear test confirming it all, my GP said it can happen that way for some women, especially if you drink lots of water and keep very hydrated as it dilutes the hormones in urine.

@MagpieSong thank you for sharing, that’s so interesting and makes me hold onto some hope I could be! I think I will hold out until Saturday & test again. I have absolutely no AF symptoms- usually I have a migraine two days before, mood swings, tearfulness... I feel relaxed, calm, the odd twinge in stomach, no sore boobs though. Here’s hoping 💫

@xoJellyBean I know that feeling well. Perhaps leave it a few more days and try again first thing in the morning!

Hi all, I am the same as you guys normally very regular 28/29 day cycles with a few days variety at most, yet I'm currently on Cd52 and 23 days late with 4 bfn lol it's driving me insane! I have sore boobs, nausea, back ache but I don't know if I'm just symptom spotting 🤷🏼‍♀️ I'm booked in for bloods with the docs next week then have to wait another week for result - more waiting

@Marvellouslymadmum those definitely sound like pregnancy symptoms to me!! Let us know how you get on after your blood results 😄 x

@MagpieSong thank you for your post! I’m currently 2 days late. My cycle are normal 28-30 days so I’m not getting my hopes up yet. I’ve had 2bfn but I tested way too early! (So impatient 😂) I do drink a lot of water though! 2/3L a day min so I’m hoping that might of diluted the tests?! I’m clinging on to anything at the moment!
Looking at testing again at the weekend, if AF doesn’t arrive before.

@NW2021 I drink a lot of water too, and they do say it can dilute lol I'm still clinging to hope when I'm nearly a month late now 😂
