Well ladies we made it all of 9 days before needing a new bus, I think I’ve had farts that lasted long, especially when they were in a bag (in blog joke) and now it’s an extra long one...bus, not fart 😜.

We are a chatty bunch it seems and we like to encourage ppl to get involved with our racing car of a TTC bus which can also be a bit of sex education class as well!

It may seem a strange ride here as we’ve got all sorts on our bus (not just the animals). We’ve got long term ticket holders where some of us have been around each other for longer than we care to remember now (so bloody hell some ppl here REALLY are bloody owed a sticky BFP now right??) but cos we love 💓each other and genuinely care about each other we cling together...despite some of us heading of to the infertility clinics, and we’ve got some newbies at the start of their TTC journeys, child number 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 18 we don’t care.

Any questions ask away, we LOVE ppl to get involved...we love those who chatter!! We also love a sex toy 😉

We have had movie night they have talked all the way through it and haven't seen hardly any of the movie.

Last year was a shitty one but I’m hoping this year is better! Covid can hold us back from a lot of things, but making babies is not one of them!

I feel like a novice with this baby making malarkey. I thought as soon as you bang without contraception you’re pregnant?! The fear of god has been put it me my whole life. I’ve had 2 boys in my early twenties, one on the pill and the other was first month. Now... Jesus. I’m late 30’s and overthinking my fertility. Why does it feel like applying for a job and whether you have the right qualifications to apply?!

I’ve opened the wine. 🙈

@Juno231 so basically I would often get a temp shift averagely to 97.30-97.40f...it would last for 13 days and then slowly decline to my average bbt of 97.20f. But in Oct when I actually ovulated my temp went from 97.21f on 24th to 97.98f on 25th and then kept climbing until 9th nov when it dropped from 98.97f to 97.21f. So I guess now I should know unless my temp shifts up to about 98f on day of or after ovulation its unlikely I've actually ovulated? Slowly getting there to understand it all xx

@lucyrp @Minster2012 so when I went into the EPU with bleeding just after Christmas they done an internal examination (the first one I've had) and found that my cervix is a little shorter than normal. Very long story short but it's down to treatment I had after an abnormal smear years ago. They were worried the cervix was also a little open, but after a few scans they could see it was fully closed but the scarring made it look a little open. I've been referred to the pre term clinic so they can keep an eye to make sure the cervix remains okay throughout the rest of pregnancy. The no sex was because they wondered if the cervix thing may have caused the few times of spotting. I think she was being overly cautious but now I'm nervous 😂

That sounds like a good routine, thank you. I'm going to start with a set wake up time which will give me plenty of time to walk the dog and shower etc before work , so I'm not literally rolling out of bed to the laptop. X

@Hopeful110 ah OK. Would you get a normal AF after the 13 days were up? But yes you should have a minimum 0.6F shift really :/ hopefully they can sort you out with clomid soon and you'll catch straight after that!

@DJmum83 thank you, I think?! I don't mean to make ppl cry. DH & I had a good old chat about the blog tonight as he asked if he could read it & I said errrr I don't really want you too. He asked why & if there's stuff he would be embarrassed about & he thought it was meant to be anonymous (he is much more private than I am and yes it does have our sex life in it). I explained you know it all anyway. & if it stays anon or not it doesn't matter it's more about feelings which I still get very embarrassed about from some things his family say despite them knowing about my past so I don't really care & if that pains him then sorry as that's what I have to deal with day to day. He said fair enough and if he could retire on the proceeds of me becoming the next JK Rowling or E.L James then he won't complain. Neither of which I have read, nor will be likely but heart to heart done & or history continues.

On the first note of getting pregnant isn't easy. We are up to episode 7 of briggerton and pah I'm guessing what will happen between Lord & Lady Hastings.

Omg @Vil10 are you OK?? That's horrible, some people are just bastards.

OK so last week I'd convinced myself that AF was gonna arrive any second and now... I'm actually feeling cautiously hopeful. Planning to test on Wednesday if AF doesn't show, but I'm on day 6 of really tender boobs and they feel bigger too. I have had tender boobs before but not for this long, previously it's been like a day or two. But then again I have had a little bit of cramping too. Am I stupid for hoping?? 🙈

@Minster2012 it's not crying in a bad way, it just means you have a wonderful gift of making people feel it with you in your writing. It's really good you should be proud of it.

I feel sick and not the symptom spotting way it's down to pure and utter greed the biggest slab of chocolate cake and whipped cream delicious but I literally feel sick and so guilty, my 2.5 stone off is going to start creeping up. Need to get my head back in the game.

@Juno231 do you know what I just found on fertility friend never seen it before but think it's because I just updated app and paid a monthly subscription fee. My BFP chart with my wee boy in 2016. I completely forgot I done temps with him.

@minster2012 he just works long hours each day and is done usually before I get up and then not back til 4/5 has tea then back in bed for 7.30! Hence why we don't really dtd when he's at work.

I'm okay in myself, just so annoyed and shaken, I rang 101 because I just thought if the driver is under the influence and they went into somebody else, like an elderly person or someone with a child in the car or god forbid actually ran someone over and I hadn't reported it I'd feel awful!! They weren't overly helpful, just said they've logged it and until they get the full reg they can't do much, they've given me a reference number so when I hopefully get the cctv I can get the full reg and contact them back!! Absolute bastards!!

@paintfairy yeah I'm in the U.K., the friends house who my OH has gone to has like an outdoor man cave/bar thing, with a roof and heaters so I didn't mind because if we can meet outside for a walk I don't think it's a massive issue being in a hut/shed, but lesson learnt I suppose!

@Dollybird89 that's like my fiancé! He's out at 3:20am, home for around 3 then preps his dinner for the next day, he has a shower and tea, and then in bed settling down for sleep at 8 😫

@LB20xx we all get confused & im not even TTC. Honestly if it were down to practice makes perfect we would have a billion kids 🤔. Bloody bonkfest as @Vil10 would say. But no. It's not fair.

Girls I haven't caught up from overnight but omg I have to tell you my biggest #mumlife story of the day:
Another hot day today and just me and my boys at home so off to the beach we went. Me being all hot mum in my once piece, high leg, low front, very low back bathers (think Baywatch but khaki green, however I do NOT look like Pam Anderson 😂 probably a good thing really).
So we have a little play down at the water, I mostly build sandcastles with 2yo DS2 while 5yo DS1 'surfs' (boogie boards). Then straight up for our usual ice cream (the boys) and coffee (me).
Waiting in line at hip as fuck coastal cafe, still all sexy-capable-mum-of-two-at-beach-with-gorg-bathers-look-how-great-I-am sort of vibe going on.
Then person behind me in line gets my attention and says 'excuse me but would you mind if I take this off your back' and gentle peels a piece of thin paper off my skin and hands in to me.
IT WAS AN ENTIRE PAGE OUT OF A LEGO INSTRUCTION BOOKLET that must've been attached to my exposed back for the entirety of our outing 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️ then another person in the line says 'oh shame, I was just learning step 27 of how to build a spaceship' 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

Now I don't embarrass easily and tend to laugh these sorts of things off, but I felt like a right dickhead wondering what the other thousand people who saw it there must've thought 🙄 fml

So I never thought this would happen to me... Was two days late and have sore boobs for a week.... Eeeee!!!

@Nats7504 well you're in the right place, we're a nutty bunch, and a lot of us have been here for wayyyyy longer than we expected. I've been ttc for 16/17 months now (27 years old, no previous kids, diagnosed pcos at the one year ttc mark and dh just recently found out he has issues there too, so it's been a fuuuuuuuun journey). I like you, thought I would come off the pill and bam, baby. No :( yes applying for a job is a good analogy haha. Good luck!
