Well ladies we made it all of 9 days before needing a new bus, I think I’ve had farts that lasted long, especially when they were in a bag (in blog joke) and now it’s an extra long one...bus, not fart 😜.

We are a chatty bunch it seems and we like to encourage ppl to get involved with our racing car of a TTC bus which can also be a bit of sex education class as well!

It may seem a strange ride here as we’ve got all sorts on our bus (not just the animals). We’ve got long term ticket holders where some of us have been around each other for longer than we care to remember now (so bloody hell some ppl here REALLY are bloody owed a sticky BFP now right??) but cos we love 💓each other and genuinely care about each other we cling together...despite some of us heading of to the infertility clinics, and we’ve got some newbies at the start of their TTC journeys, child number 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 18 we don’t care.

Any questions ask away, we LOVE ppl to get involved...we love those who chatter!! We also love a sex toy 😉

For the ladies who temp - do you actually take your temperature religiously at the same time every morning? Or is it a 'within an hour' sort of thing? Also, is it better to go the whole nine yards and do OPK's as well? I'm considering it for next month if I don't get a BPF this month.

Wow what a journey... I miss 2 days and jesus you guys its been a roller-coaster with BFPs, squinters & the whole situation with @skip86 (which I was so shocked and sad to read but glad there's a plan and sending a huge hug to you.💕)

@florence13 about the covid vaccine. I've had my 1st dose, I've had the Phizer one.
😊 they're delaying the 2nd doses anyway atm in Wales (I don't know if they are in other parts of the UK) so I weighed up the risks and felt it was pretty low risk. I'm the same & hoping we conceive between now & the 2nd dose then I'll delay it. Like @blackcurrantqueen I'm just going to cross that bridge as I come to it... It might take me ages to catch again and I'd rather share my immunity with my baby if I can. I feel lucky to be offered it... Only perk of being in the NHS during this pandemic 🙈
@lucyrp yeah the advice is still that the vaccine isn't offered to pregnant ladies as a blanket approach however they've changed the guidelines to say that if you've got a high change of exposure to the virus or have complex health needs that put you at a greater risk of being really poorly with covid then you should discuss the risks with the Dr and you should be offered the vaccine should you wish to take it.

@TTCAbroad I take it every morning but not at the same time, but that's mainly because I always wake up before the alarm randomly so I think better to take it when I've just woken up then wait and not have had enough time for it to go back down to basal temp again.

@TTCAbroad its more a within the hour thing but you should try and get it within half hour I guess. I didn't bother doing OPKs as well as I could never work them out and they stressed me out more than they helped 😂

@TTCAbroad ideally same time each day but within half an hour is okay. An hours difference for most women would mean 0.1C difference in temp and that's actually a fair amount! On the odd day where you wake up late though you could just use a bbt temp adjuster.

Thanks ladies! Hopefully that will be the end of the bad news parade from my family 🤞. For those of you asking if I could go see them/help - unfortunately not as they're all in Sweden and the only permitted travel I would be allowed to do is for a funeral at this point so let's hope it doesn't come to that!

@DJmum83 I'm sorry for the drop :( I think I'm joining you on Sunday - I tested with an IC this morning and got a BFN and my temp isn't doing anything promising either.

@Gem176 does everyone you send the Brazil nuts too get pregnant? if those are the results then send them around to all of us love! Get a production line going! 🤣😂

@TTCAbroad i tried temping for all of 2 weeks...before I found out I wasn't sending any eggs out pahhhhh.

I did call the EPU yesterday who were as predicted useless basically said 'until we say otherwise / things change then you are pregnant in our eyes'
I said to them I know my body this is the third time of this happening, the pregnancy test is basically negative now. I was trying to ask her if I hadn't bled at all by Monday then what would happen? And she was not giving me any answers!

So feeling really low and shite to be honest, wondering if the plasterer will notice I have had the same pyjamas on for three days now 😂

Oh yes @blackcurrantqueen the EPU do they won't do bloods or anything just waiting on scan? So that's 18th isn't it next week? Awww hun. No a plasterer won't notice nor give a shit! ❤️🌈allll the big hugs and squeezes still hoping there's something there xxx

I really hate it when everyone thinks you are stupid and they know better than you? OK sometimes people are clueless, I get that. But I'm never one of those and it really annoys me when people won't listen. Rude woman.
@TTCAbroad I used to be fairly off with my times sometimes. But it still seemed to work. I get a clear pattern overall. My post O temps are never near my pre O temps. It's useful for confirming O. I think anything beyond that (trying to detect pregnancy) turns it into a stressful nightmare, as you start reading too much into it.
@DJmum83 And so does testing early! Just don't do it. 🤣 I agree, now you probably need to wait a day or 2 and try again. Then you should have an answer. But to me- this scenario is more stressful than just knowing nothing at all?

Sorry to hear about the temp drop @DJmum83, does it usually drop so drastically before af or do you usually have a gradual drop over a few days? If you usually have a gradual there's still a chance it's just one of those dodgy temps from sleeping with your mouth open or something, but given your history I understand if you want to prepare your head for AF.

@Franklydear sorry to hear about AFs arrival AND dodgy tuna double whammy! Hope you can treat yourself to something nice today to pick you up.

@blackcurrantqueen how frustrating that the EPU are not being helpful at all! 😔 The plasterer won't care about your PJs, but why not order yourself some nice new ones as a pick me up, its always better when you're feeling shit to have nice new jammies....ooh and nice fresh bedding too, tho I always find the changing of the bedding is a pain in the arse but worth the results jumping into a bed with fresh sheets.

@Franklydear lol about your son's comment crossing the road; I worked in a specialist primary provision for children with ASD and one of ours did something at playtime so I said to him ok we're going to talk about happened and he said well I'm going to lie. Still makes me laugh to this day!

I'm having a really painful period this month. Hot water bottle, painkillers and nothings working. I was Googling bad period pain yesterday to see if it was normal for painkillers not to work! It's a bit better today thankfully 😅

So I've got a local builder who lives in the village to come look at our plans for the big shed tomorrow.
