It's a Tesco own brand blue dye, I done it at work and waited 2 minutes , it was negative so I then put it away in my bag, after finishing work I looked at it again and this was the result.
It looks too dark to be an evap. Does anyone have any advice?
I'm on decogestral pill and don't know when my last bleed was because I frequently spot.
I've been bloated so bad for two days and smelling things more strongly
Thankyou xx

Hmm it does look positive to me I think. Could you get a pink dye test? Many people prefer them for clarity Smile

I can't today, I've got another Tesco one for the morning, hopefully it's negative! It just looks too dark to be an evap 😩

You just cannot tell if you have not looked within the correct window (whether it's ten minutes or whatever, it isn't a full day). There's definitely a line there, you will need to try again ideally first thing in the morning and see what it says. Hope it's the result you want.

Butterflykiss00 · 09/01/2021 18:27

@ItsIgginningtolookalotlikeXmas thankyou, I looked at it about an hour after doing it, the box said read within two minutes which is why I thought it was negative x

If it was negative after 2 minutes then it is probably negative. There's a reason they say to check within the time window - because outside of that these inaccurate results can appear.

However, I would definitely do another one and check within two minutes, just to make sure.

Do yourself a favour and throw it away after you've checked it the first time - don't check again hours later. They are not accurate or reliable after that and you'll only cause yourself stress.

@wildraisins your right! Wish I never looked just didn't want to put it in the work bin

I had a few Tesco tests that did that after I left them. Wasn't pregnant. I wouldn't waste your money on blue tests. Stick to the pink ones. Even Poundland better than these

Butterflykiss00 · 09/01/2021 18:54

Thankyou, I will retest in morning and maybe get a frer

This is the result, within time frame. What do you do think?

Can anyone see a line on new test? Xx

OP posts:
eloiseislost · 10/01/2021 08:51

I can see a shadow of a line, maybe? It's hard to tell from the photo. At this point, you are better off getting a pink dye test like FRER.

Butterflykiss00 · 10/01/2021 09:00

Yeah will do, just thought I might aswell use the other blue dye from the pack first
