COVID-19 vaccine

Just (5pm) been offered a vaccine slot tomorrow.
I'm trying to conceive and currently having cd3.
I think it best to have it and nit doe of COVID if I was pregnant but DH thinks we may never get pregnant if I have it.

Anyone NOT having it when ttc?

I'm a front line worker.

Morning! In in the same position, currently isolating as DD and DH have tested positive but can have the vaccine slot next Sunday as NHS worker! However we have been trying for our 4 since July and now I'm worried to tell work that I'm not going to book it due to trying, or do we just go for it as I know it could be months before we fall?! X

The screening questions ask "could you be pregnant?"
The vaccinator was a bit thrown when I said, "probably not but I am trying," and passed me on to the oncall dr who was there.
As it happens she was an Obstetrician so we had a good chat about the risk of becoming pregnant and having to deliver early if I was to get severe COVID-19 vs the evidence just not being available but based on other vaccines, people trying to conceive do receive vaccinations.

It's difficult to discuss at work as we are a team of 5, with only 2 of us actually working (1long term sick for nearly 18m, and 2 vacancies) at the moment so I don't want to add to the stress by going off but I really want a baby!

I probably wouldn’t have it unless I was high risk, especially given what the doctor told you. I thought they would’ve said it was fine (even though there’s no data yet).

Honestly, I would stop trying, delay the vaccine until certain not pregnant and then stop ttc for 3 months. The stuff about it affecting your fertility is absolute bullshit touted by conspiracy theorists.
