Asda Pregnancy Test Confusion

Hi all I'm new here. I have PCOS with no regularity to my cycle. So here it goes. On Wednesday I took a Asda pregnancy test ( the 2 pack think they are £3.50) one came up positive all though faint. I did a FRER that came back what I believe is negative and then 2 clear blue early response yesterday and today too, if I squint one looks faint but I don't know if im just hoping a line . Has anybody else had this issue with an asda test the last time I was pregnant which unfortunately ended in a miscarriage I used asda test but they was bold positives and was backed up with a FRER.

I'd take a negative FRER as a neg, sorry. In my experience they're the most sensitive and least prone to dye bleeds or any other confusing markings.

I'd wait a few days and try again with FRER.

Same it was blatantly there mine was slightly darker then what yours shows on the picture and showed as soon as it started to develop, it’s horrible and heart breaking, I got my hopes up thinking we had managed to actually do it naturally after our miscarriage a while back when I was on Clomid we’ve been trying 9 years, we had an 18 month break due to getting married. The stress and emotions are over whelming, but we’re strong we will get there. I still haven’t got my AF however that’s nothing new with my PCOS. Good luck with you journey it seems it’s best to keep away from these tests! Shock

Hi Rainbowwishes91,

I have PCOS too .. fell pregnant with Clomid but unfortunately miscarried. Our stories sound fairly similar. I went for years without a regular cycle, spotting here and there or constantly for days/weeks, but am currently having cycles that last between 32 and 38 days. I lost weight and take Inofolic .. I’m sure it’s a combination of the two that helped. Have you tried supplements like Inofolic?

Good luck with your journey Smile

I’ve been looking at inofolic but couldn’t find many reviews about it, which brand do you use? I’ve looked ovasitol which is meant to be brilliant but very pricey! Grin -

I get Inofolic Alpha from fertilityfamily.co.uk ... it costs me around £30 per month. It was recommended by my fertility specialist Smile

Thank you! I will take a look 🥰🥰
