So I've been off the pill for 5-6 weeks and no idea where I am in my cycle. Took a test as felt like I did with my son. I keep getting super faint barely visible lines but I'm sure they have colour! It's been like this for over a week now so not hopeful it will be a successful pregnancy but wondering if anyone has had the same.

I had a chemical last year and the lines were faint but darker than now and gradually faded these aren't fading but always super faint. Hard to photograph faint. I'm so confused!

A couple from a day or 2 ago have dried and now the love is visible that my husband can see and is pink, do evaps dry pink? I'm sure when wet they have colour but so so faint can't get proof and husband can't see it 🙈

I've had plenty negative and even when dry there's been nothing or once I had a very light but definitely grey line so not sure what's going on. Is there anything besides a chemical that could cause this? Still no bleed.

Waiting for a cal back from the drs this afternoon but it's driving me crazy!

Here's a variety of photos all except the bottom normal photo was taken within 10 mins of taking the test on different days, the bottom is it dried (looks a lot clearer and definitely the right colour pink in real life)

*I'm aware they are super faint but they are definitely there in real life 🙈

Yes I can see a line! Evaps aren't that common and I believe they don't show colour, so I'm pretty sure that's a positive but test again tomorrow with a FRER using fmu, the line should have got slightly darker.

@ButterscotchBabe thank you! My husband had me thinking I was going mad, not feeling hopeful though as this has been the same for a week now :(

Wondering if anything other than another couple could be causing super low levels of hcg, was hoping to try next cycle but not sure if this will go or prevent me ovulating 🙈

Ah if they've been like that for a week, I think you need to have a blood pregnancy test to confirm the pregnancy. If it is confirmed then they can do another blood test in a week's time or so to check the HCG level is rising properly.

Agree with the PP - I can definitely see the lines but if they're not getting any darker (or lighter) then you need a blood test to find out what's going on.
Good luck OP 😊
