Ttc - impatiently waiting...

Hi,
So I thought it would be good to have a thread just for those that are waiting to ttc so we can wait, be broody and impatient together.
I am personally coming off my pill in March when we will be ttc #1. After lurking for a while and seeing a few comments on other threads from people who are also waiting till later in the year I thought it would make the wait a bit easier to wait together.
So yeah, I'm Jess and ttc#1 March onwards :)

@Jessmary94 I started in Dec had withdrawal bleed 22nd -27th so officially from then. Im TTC #2 after 9 years! I've finally gotten over the trauma of #1 haha good luck with it 🙌

Hello! Just butting in to say it's worth coming off your pill now and using alternative contraception until you're ready to TTC. Loads of women take months to regulate after the pill - I'm on the post pill thread and it's got plenty of ladies on there that took months to start ovulation, had random 140 day cycles etc after coming off the pill.

Not to scare you, just wanted to say there'd be no harm in starting to get all that out of your system sooner rather than later!

I second what @Juno231 said. I wasn't on the pill, but had the implant so still hormone related. My cycles are still regulating and I had it out in May, I wish I had it taken out when we initially decided we were going to TTC and used an alternative method.

Thanks for the advice ladies :) we are wanting to officially start trying in the summer but coming off the pill in March in preparation and if it happens before summer then happy days xx

@Jessmary94 I always said id want to start in August/ September so id have a summer baby also so not to be heavily pregnant in summer again 🤣🤣 i had an oct baby she was due September though. Itd be so funny if I got caught now as I found out last time in January 10 years ago so poetic lol

@MMG21 I’m the same! Came off the pill early December, period 22nd-30th December currently TTC #1!

opk picked up a peak night before last so DTD night before that & again last night, here’s hoping. However flo predicts actual ovulation date the 13th, guess the first few months really are just trial & error.

@Jessmary94 fingers crossed for you. Such an exciting time!
