Bfp and temp dropping

Hi I am hoping any of you lovely ladies can have a look at my chart plz. I got my bfp today but my temperature is dropping has anyone else had this and had a normal pregnancy or does it mean it's going to be another chemical pregnancy

Hello! Temps can be quite erratic at that stage so it doesn't have to mean anything at all! The other thing I'd say is that the downward triangle shows that you took your temp earlier than usual today. How much earlier was it? The earlier you take the lower it will be so potentially this is skewed?

Try a bbt temp adjuster to see what it would have been had you woken up at the same time as usual.

Hi thankyou for your reply Juno231I took my temp 40 mins early, but the one I took this morning was only 36.34 I could of cried i re took it straight away

and then it said 36.78

@Newbie202012 hm you could be sleeping with your mouth open! I do that sometimes, so I have to close my mouth and retake the temps a few minutes later whilst lying still. Fingers crossed the 36.78 is the right one - let me know how it goes tomorrow!

I didnt think about sleeping with my mouth open , however I did save the hight temp in my chart (maby wishful thinking) this is my first month charting but ttc for 6 month so the bbt os new to me and congratulations chica1990 hope everything goes well the due date calculator said I'm due the 15th September when r u due

@Newbie202012 yeah I never thought I slept with an open mouth but since BBT-ing I definitely catch myself some mornings with it open lol. I think I'm extra likely to as I tend to sleep with a mouthguard in.

Hi ladies I thought I'd update what's happend today I didnt take my temperature as I fell asleep with my dressing gown on thismorning but I did do another fmu test and it was really faint so there has been no progression jn the last 3 days on my test this has hapend befor and I had a cemical but I will update the out come chica1990 hows your temps going

Sorry Newbie, did you use the same kind of test as before? Have you bled at all?

I still have positives but haven’t got the same type yet to compare it against but hoping for the delivery today. My temp dropped last night to what it was on the first day of my last period but I did wake up at 3 am boiling hot so I wonder if I slept through the whole night my ava bracelet would have recorded a higher average temp?

Hi Chica 1990 no I havnt started bleeding yet , (previous cemical pregnancys I bled from 5 1/2 weeks ) but getting mild belly aches, I got loads from poundland the other day they are really faint and and their isnt any progression on them and they are a 20mul sensitivity so it's not looking good for me, but dont stress your self out with mine cos u might be completely different this will be my 4th pregnancy loss so I'm expectingit. hope you see good progression on yours I will keep posting updates until I know what's happinging

4th that’s so disheartening! When will you be 5 and a half weeks? I hope this is different this time. How many tests have you done in totally?

My FRER came today so I saved my second morning wee from 7am to use with it (gross I know!) and I think I see some progression but I dare get my hopes up yet

I really wouldnt worry about yours ,yours looks promising with good progression I'm 5 1/2 week on 15th /16th Jan I've gone a few tests I am a pee in a stick addict lol I've uploaded my pics the top ones are first responce taken 1st day of missed period and day 3 I cant find how sensitive they r, the second pic is the poundland 20mul strips all first morning urine taken day of missed period to today but they r really really faint and hasnt got any darker (not a good sign ) so then I was hoping the tests were faulty so I got a morrisons own 25ml and that's really light they should of been alot darker by now I hope the doctors will refur me now ,they wouldnt last time cos its was 2 chemicals and one eptopic they said it has to be 3 misscarages befor they can class it as recurring and to give me a refural

I forgot to add the first responce one was taking later through the day after drinking loads of water and the second first responce was first thing this morning so it will look darker than the other one

Ah right I was going to say there is definitely a difference in the first response until I saw your second post. I think the strip tests are absolutely crap. I really hope it’s just bad tests!

God you’ve had a really tough time of it, you are made of much harder stuff than I am! I had an ectopic in October, it’s crazy how many people here have had to go through it. Did you lose a tube from it?

Have you ever change your diet when TTC at all?

Sorry to hear bout your eptopic did u lose a tube it scared the life out of me Luckily I didnt lose mine over it they said it's the most effective way but I begged them to do something else so they treated it with methotrexate I though I was having a cemical pregnancy again i started bleeding at 5 half weeks but I was still getting really slow progressive positives tests so they took me jn for bloods and they were rising really slow and yeh I changed my diet i started eating really health and started going out jogging on a night and it just dosnt help I foned the midwife yesturday and have a scan booked 26th of Jan (due to previous and eptopic) if I make it that far. have u booked in for a scan yet are you doing any more tests? I hope our temps fly bk up tomorrow

Sorry about yours too! Yes I lost a tube, the bloods indicated it but they couldn’t find it when doing a scan so they removed it when I went in for a laparoscopy.

I did call up today but they asked me to call back next week as it’s not far along yet. I’d want to do it on a Friday just in case but can’t decide to try for 22nd or hold out until 29th - if I get that far like you say.

I’ve ordered more tests so will keep doing them and keep an eye on my temp. Are you going to keep testing? How do you feel at the moment?

I did read on here someone went through years of losses and needed ivf and then she got diagnosed with coeliac disease years later which I’ve read can have an effect. Do you have any intolerances? What supplements do you normally use?

Morning chica 1990 hope you r doing well today. That must of been mentally and emotionally horrible when they couldn't save your tube but look at the bright side your other side is very active it's only took you a couple of month to get your bfp. Your a more patient woman than me ,I took the first appointment possible for the scan , if you went to the earliest one have u got a window to the womb in your area? They do reassurance scans from 6 weeks. I'm considering ivf even tho id much rather do it natually. I dont have any intolerances what I'm aware of but I'd think i know, and thankyou for the info on the coeliac disease I'm going to look in it any advice is apresheated and to your last question I took pregnant care befor conception and now take the normal pregnant care, did you do your temps yday and today and have u done anymore tests?I've uploaded my tests from yesturday and today cos the stip ones seems to fade over night abit of progress on them but not alot

I’ve booked in for a scan with nhs as soon as I hit 6 weeks to make sure it’s in the right place, might be too early to see anything but can always book private after if need be! My tests have been getting darker but don’t seem to be getting any darker than they have been now and I’m hoping it’s because they hit a point and get stagnant? I don’t know 🤞🏻 Hoping to see a 3+ week on a clear blue by Tuesday.

Hi chica 1990 I've read that pregnacy tests only hold so much hcg so I hope this is the case for u plus they have got darker which is a really good sign so I hope you get really good news on your scan. Unfortunately I started spotting yesturday so I foned the early pregnancy assessment unit they were lovely they said there was only a 10% chance they would c anything on the scan at 5 weeks 1 but done it anyways they couldn't see anything indicating pregnancy or eptopic but said it's to early anyways so they took my bloods and have to have them repeated tomorrow. I started bleeding loads through the night so I know I'm not pregnant anymore I'm now hoping my hcg levels have dropped tomorrow. I'm not sure now if the charts tell you much when pregnant cos I thought It kept dropping under coverline with miscarrages mine was up and down plus my tests didnt get any darker I've uploaded my pics and I will update when I get my 2 nd blood results tomorrow I'm going to ask the midwife about charts and get abit more info about them

Oh I’m sorry to hear this 😔 I know you were expecting this from the beginning but it must still be a shock and I was hoping it would be ok still ❤️. I’m glad the epu have seen you and done bloods so you can know what’s going on.

Thank you for some reassurance about the pregnancy tests and hcg. I’m hoping I see a 3+ weeks on a clear blue by Tuesday to put my mind at ease. My temps dropped but seem elevated until I haven’t got a cover line so it isn’t that clear, don’t know why it hasn’t shown up.

Have you heard about taking baby aspirin? I’ve seen people on here who struggle with miscarriages talk about using it. Might be worth asking the midwife?
