Hello. I recently posted about a possible miscarriage I was experiencing after an ectopic pregnancy in October which resulted in removal of my right tube. I discovered I was pregnanct after my period in December which came as a shock. I went for blood tests which started at 22,then went to 37,then went to 44.the doctors said this pregnancy is non viable and I will either need methotrexate or will miscarry. A few days later I had bleeding so I thought I had a miscarriage. I am due to go back for bloods tomorrow. Turns out I haven't miscarried as the lines on my test are getting darker. I'm confused, and scared. There's no chance of this being viable is there? :(

Hi, so sorry to read about your experience. Have you had a scan? Do the doctors know the location?

I had a lot of bleeding with an ectopic in my cervix, which at the time I assumed was a miscarriage. The pregnancy was progressing but it was unsafe to let it continue in that location so I was treated with methotrexate.

Hey @Novice32 I've had 2 scans and they can't find it. I have more bloods tomorrow. I've been left all over Christmas wondering if I'm going to miscarry or get pain from ectopic ifs aeful:(

How did you get on @Halli2020 ?

Halli2020 · 09/01/2021 17:38

Hi @Chica1990 my hcg didn't rise above 123,and they couldn't find anything on my scans so yesterday I had methotrexate. Not as bad as I expected feel a bit nauseous and tired but I am coping okay. We probably won't try til April now as gives my body chance to heal aswell as mentally because the past few months have taken a toll on me. Thanks for checking in :)
