Could this be a chemical or ectopic?

I have no idea where I am in my cycle (stopped the mini pill 5 weeks ago) I've been getting super faint positives for nearly a week now, I feel slightly pregnant.

I had a Chemical last year and the faintest was darker than any of these and after a week of faint positive lines I bled and that was that.

I've done quite a few and had blank white negatives. These are very faint lines within the time limits on frer, one step cheapie, one step in plastic casing, clear blue 6 days early test. Surely they can't all be dodgy and there is a hint of colour so don't think evaps (and like I said always had blank white before (lots!) and this is new and on all tests)

Could an ectopic or something else be causing super low levels of hcg? I'm hopeful but it's not looking likely to be a proper bro but no idea what it could be or if it's something I need to speak to a dr about. Understand you can't diagnose but wondering if anyone has experienced similar?

No idea if this is how an ectopic would start but I know the pill I was on increases the risk of having o W which is why I'm asking x

Sorry you’re going through all this uncertainty! Flowers

I have attached pictures of tests from my ectopic - definitely doesn’t mean faint results! I’d keep an eye on one sided pain and bleeding though just in case.

I think it’s something you’ll need to talk to your GP about and ask if they can do a blood draw, that should be able to shed some light on it x

Didn’t want to read and run but my own experience of an ectopic was that I got pregnancy tests with strong lines on them. Everyone’s hcg levels are different and I think plenty of people do get very faint lines in the beginning without it necessarily being an indication of a problem. Others with experience of a chemical pregnancy may be able to help.

I'd personally use the same brand of test first thing in the morning every couple of days and see if it darkens then. You could just be still quite early in the stages, I never got a strong positive until about 1-2 weeks after my period, the first few days before my period were always quite faint. Testing in the middle of the day when you've drank fluids can also dilute the urine too which can make the test appear fainter. Hope you get some answers soon Smile
